"Hello there patient #20." She gave back no replies; her eyes was fixated on the decayed head in her arms. My belly turned every time my eyes glances over on the head of what looks like a man, or what's left of him.
I sat there bamboozled of what else to say to this patient. Her attention is no where else but the head she's hugging close.
"H-Hi there. Can you hear me?" Still no reply. This was going nowhere. So I take deep breaths and proceeded to ask her a personal question.
"Patient #20, is that your husband you're holding there?" Nothing. Nothing except for her eyes glowing dark red as it keeps looking at the head.
Slightly trembling in fear I got up and left the room.
