Every single time......I hear 'mine' repeatedly in my head whenever I'm about to go to sleep or waking up. It's like the sound of a girl, a girl about my age. I look through my window as I see normal kids playing in the park. Speaking of that, I'm late for school!

I jump out of bed and right in the shower to freshen up then put my uniform on to go to school. Running straight to school I realize it was 8 o' clock which pretty much means I'm late. Guess who is up for detention?

I hurry to class until I bump into Vanessa and she fall on top of me.
"O-Oh sorry Vanessa," I say rising up with her on me.
"No, it's fine Y/N. Come on we're late," she says smiling which is pretty cute.
"Righto."

The both of us get up on our feet and run straight to class then take our seats. As I sit down in my seat, I felt a glare behind me; a bad one. I slowly turn around and see a red headed girl looking at me and smiling. She has a very cute smile that cause your heart to beat very hard like you're having a heart attack. I smile back at her and turn back around. That glare I felt behind me......could be my imagination or probably my paranoia.

Class ends pretty fast because why? I slept it all out. Well, it's finally lunch time and I get my lunch pretty quickly because I'm basically the cutest thing around the school and the other kids don't mind me skipping them.

As I get my lunch and start to look where I can sit, I see a empty space where Vanessa is and I quickly go to there. "Hey Vanessa," I say.
She looks at me and smiles, "Hey Y/N, come on sit down."

I nod and sit right beside her and I see her coming a little closer to me. I let it slide and eat my lunch and she eats hers. As we finish our lunch and we throw away our trash, she leans me down a bit and whispers "Y/N, can you meet me at the riverside after school?"

Something hit my heart a bit and I nod smiling then her smile became even cuter and she runs off. My smile became more visible as I made my way to my next class which is art class.

As art class pass through and I slept through the other classes, I realize when it's almost time for school to be over that I have detention. Darn, looks like Vanessa and I won't meet then...like hell I'm not. I'm going to skip detention, I can serve it tomorrow..

School finally dismisses and I run straight to the riverside and I see Vanessa watching the sunset. Dang, she's very pretty from this angle. I wonder how guys don't date her yet. I get to her and pant like hell from all that running.

"You made it," she says.
"Yeah, phew."
She giggles.
"So um, why are we here?"
"Um...I have a confession to make. I like you Y/N."
"As a......friend?"
She shakes her head.
"School mate?"
She starts to laugh then shakes her head again.
"As a......b-b-boyyyy....?"
She nods and my eyes widen. "I want you to be my boyfriend-that's if you're single."
"Single Pringle."
"So? Will you date me?"
"Hmmm, well we hardly know each other but we will if we go out tomorrow when school's over."
"Mhm. It's a date then. Meet you at 3pm tomorrow okay?"
"Okay babe."
She giggles again then she kisses my cheek and walk off. "See you tomorrow."
"See you. 3pm."
"3pm."

She runs back to me and We switch numbers and she runs off again.

This is great! I get a girlfriend and I'm going on my first date since High School! I'm so excited! I can't wait! I run straight back home, change in my pajamas and plop into bed for I want this to end quickly so I can take my girlfriend on a date. Oh imagine I'm holding her hand and walking with her-oh my god! I better sleep now! Woo-hoo!! No! Huh? What was....? I must be hearing things or something... Nahh, Haha! Tomorrow's going to be awesome.....!

My eyes quickly open as the alarm clock bursts it's annoying loud noise and I smack it just after. I rub my eyes and I remember that I have a date today which brings my excitement back. I jump out of bed and I look at my phone to see 6 missed calls from Vanessa. She was calling just the time I went to bed. I wonder what she was calling me for? Wait, why am I asking myself? I can just call her and see what's up.

As I dial her, I start to get worried. What if she wants to cancel the date? Only way to find ou-she isn't answering. I dial her again But still no answer. Maybe she's at school already so I'm going to hurry and get ready.

I get ready and run straight to school to look for Vanessa. I look in the class, the key club room and basically everywhere around the school and don't see her. She could be home then.....maybe she tried to call to tell me that she won't be at school it seems. Looks like my day got ruined then.....I go to class all silent and disappointed for my moment to go on a date with a girl was ruined.

Just as the class is about to be over, the principal along with two Police officers comes in the class looking all serious. The class was all silent and then the principal starts to speak.

"Good morning class. As you may be wondering, Vanessa Simpson which is the class representative isn't at school today.......well,.....that's because she's been murdered yesterday evening."

The whole class is shocked, me mostly but my shock causes tears to fall from my eyes.........
