"Two suspects on that footage are on the run. I repeat, there are on the run. We need backup."
"Keep at them, we're on our way."

Pauline's POV~

Me and Stella dash through an alleyway as two cops chase us on foot. Stella swiftly turns right and I follow and as we are near to exit the alleyway to another district, we hear sirens close to where we are. I stop and Stella turns around to me.

"Stella go. I'll go in a different direction."
Stella then continue her way down another alleyway and I run down the street. Reaching the corner of the sidewalk, two police cars drive and surrounds me. I immediately put my hands in the air as they come out of the car with their pistols pointing at me. "On your knees with your hands on your head," they say and I obey. One of them puts my arms behind cuffing my wrists and Detective Morgan approaches me.

"I never thought I would see you in an act like this Pauline. Where is the other one?"
"D-Ditched me sir."
"Ditched you huh? We'll talk more later," he says as the cops carry me in the car.

__________________Time Skip________________ 

I look around as I'm in the interrogation room and get a bit scared. The feeling of being in an actual room where criminals gets interrogated, it's kinda scary to me. I hope Stella didn't get caught too. The door opens revealing the Detective coming in. He closes the door and sits in the chair across from me.

"Ms. Pauline, what's going on? We were talking earlier today and now you're a convict sitting in this room."
I have to protect Stella at all costs. I remain silent.
"Come on Ms. Pauline, talk to me."
"....I had to...it was her or Y/N and his friend being in danger."
"Hm? So you think killing her is better than reporting her to the police?"
"Yes. Because she'll still be dead at least."
"Ms. Pauline I know you're fully aware of the law correct? So why still come to that conclusion?"
"Because most of these...laws are bullshit."
"Language lady."
Just get this over with already...
"Look I understand where you're coming from, but this is manslaughter you've involved in. Her arms are both severely fractured with her head blown off."
He must not know about Stella...
"Who was the person with you?"
"I don't know..."
"What do you mean you don't know?"
"She was after Ohnike too and we ran into each other okay? She said we could kill her together but she did it by herself and made a run for it."
"But you were running with her."
"I was running after her. She ditched me I told you.."
He looks at me.
I'm not letting you know about Stella...
"So you're saying she left you to get caught by the police?"
"....Yes....and I hate her for that..."
"Do you know what she looked like?"
"I couldn't see her face well."
"I see." he says with a sigh.
That's it. Now get out of here...

He gets up and leaves the room as two of the cops come to get me.

Your POV~

What...should I do....? All of the traces is on me....? And if I don't do anything...I'll go to jail....What the fuck...?! Even so...what should I do...or even say..? I can't just say it's Stella...I just can't....I don't know what to do....

I hear the door open and I see Stella enter in a black robe. She closes the door then takes off her robe and I see blood on her hands.

"Wh-Who'd you..?" I ask.
"Ohnike," she says.
"H-How did-?"
"All that matters is that she won't hurt my  Y/N ever again."
I smile and nod. "Okay Stella. You can go shower okay?"
"Want to join me?"
"S-Sure!"
