Jennie and Yoongi arrived at one of the small balconies at the other side of the room from their friends.

The noise from the inside is still echoing in their ears but not loud enough to distract them from their conversation.

"What do you want to talk about?" Yoongi asked.

He followed his wife's gaze and their eyes locked on the beautiful city night. Tiny specks of lights clumped together and noises of vehicles from below echoing.

Still waiting for her response, Yoongi's eyes slowly made its way to look at Jennie.

The city lights illuminating her beautiful face.

"Jen?" He called her. "What is it that you want to talk about?"

His wife finally turned her face to look at him. Yoongi was confused to see Jennie's emotionless face looking back at him.

"Look," He began. "If I did something wrong, then I want to apologize. But I need to know what it is so that —"

Jennie didn't even let him finish his sentence.

Cutting him off like that, with a serious look on her face.

"Yoongi, I want to file a divorce."

He was in shock.

Yoongi's eyes widened, his lips slightly ajar, and his whole body turned into a statue as he stared at his wife in complete shock and confusion.

"W-what?" He spluttered. "I-I don't understand what you're talking about."

Jennie's eyes closed as she wrapped her arms around herself, "I said I want to get a divorce. I don't want to be your wife anymore, Yoongi."

"Jen, you're not making any sense."

The young woman sighed, "What's there to not understand? I want to get a divorce. This whole arranged marriage thing was a huge mistake in the first place, let's not waste any more time."

Still, Yoongi was confused, sure he knew that Jennie was obviously against the fact of marrying him but the two of them wanted to satisfy their families, ending up with the two of them secretly married for two years.

They already had a plan long before their wedding and a few weeks after the announcement of the said wedding.

He thought that they both agreed on it.

It was fairly simple. They can date whoever they want as long as their families wouldn't know about it and they can file a divorce a couple of years later when they finally meet their other halves.

Their true other halves.

Jennie's suggestion of filing a divorce this early would be a huge weight being lifted off his shoulder. He wouldn't have to carry the burden anymore.
