The honeymoon
"Have fun!!" Their parents yelled as they waved goodbye to the newly wedded couple and immediately walked away to the elevator and left the bride and groom in their hotel suite.
Yoongi stood there by the already closed door with Jennie still in his arms.
"Well, that went well." Jennie muttered with intense sarcasm in her voice.
Yoongi sighed, locked the door and finally carried his bride into the suite where a beautifully made bed with red petals of Roses scattered on the white sheets of the bed, the two colors complimenting each other.
They saw a bottle of expensive wine on the table and two glasses. Yoongi cringed at the glass bowl right on the bedside table when he saw the familiar squared colored packets that filled to the brim.
He promised himself to hide it before Jennie can see the contents of those bowls.
"They really went all out with the honeymoon part," Yoongi sighed with the woman still in his arms.
Jennie was about to say something when she was suddenly flying through the air and landed on the soft cushions of the bed, ruining the scattered flower petals.
"Ow!" She yelled and glared at her new husband. "What was that for?!"
Instead of answering, Yoongi began stretching his arms and shoulders. "How much did you eat at the reception? God, the dress made you heavier."
Jennie took her heels and threw it at Yoongi, "Yah! You're so mean! And I'm supposed to be your wife!"
"It's just our first night together and you're already throwing a tantrum!!" Yoongi yelled back as he caught her two shoes before placing them down the floor.
"You can use the bathroom first, I'll wait." He told her and took off his tie.
Jennie sighed and pulled a bag under the bed full of her clothes and things. She had a hard time walking in the bathroom since she was still wearing her wedding dress but she managed.
The two had already made a plan for their honeymoon that was different from what their parents imagined for them to do for their first night together.
They sabotaged the hotel suite that their parents planned on surprising them with and took all of their necessities and hid them under the bed for when the time comes.
After the two finally changed into some more comfortable clothes, they pulled out a stash of junk foods under the bed and spread them out on the white sheets.
"You didn't bring any salty foods?!" Jennie's eyes widened when she scattered their food stash.
Yoongi rolled his eyes and a small pop of the cork from the wine bottle echoed in the room.
"You're supposed to be on a diet, right?" He gave her a glass of wine and sat down right next to his wife on the bed. "You're debuting soon, you can't eat anything that would fatten you up."
Jennie pouted at this and drank the wine in one gulp out of frustration.
"I hate you."
"I know."
For the rest of the night, all they did was watch TV.
"Yah! Why did you change it?!" Jennie snatched the remote away from her husband's grasp and turned it back to the show that she was watching.
"Give it back, Jennie." Yoongi told her with a threatening voice but Jennie knew better than to believe any of his threats.
He sighed and took the remote away.
"Stop it!"
"No! It's my turn!"
"You were watching for a whole ass hour!"
"I'm your wife!"
"Well, I'm your husband!"
Eat food, drink wine.
"You shouldn't drink too much," Yoongi told her and took the wine bottle away from her. "You're finishing a whole damn bottle, Jennie!"
"But you finished all the food!" Jennie argued. "I told you to eat at the reception but you didn't listen to me!"
"I wasn't hungry that time," He said. "Plus, there were too many sweets at the table and there wasn't enough real food."
"Cake is literally food!"
"Cake is only food for chubbies like you, Jen."
"You're so mean to your wife."
And play Mario Kart — Jennie won every single time which is why Yoongi decided that they should finally sleep since he couldn't take any more of Jennie's teasing about being a sore loser.
"You're really bad at video games," Jennie yawned as her eyes slowly fluttered close while they watched a movie.
Yoongi scoffed, "That's just because I drank too much wine."
His eyes still on the bright screen when he felt something on his shoulder. When he took a quick glance, he saw Jennie asleep on his shoulder.
"Should've told me you weren't going to watch if you're just gonna sleep on me," He groaned and turned the movie off.
With careful movements, he pulled Jennie to lie down on the bed and tucked her in.
Yoongi stared at the young woman for a few moments to take in everything that just happened today. He finally got married and this woman will be with him for the rest of his life.
He cringed at the thought.
Finally, he lies down right next to Jennie on the bed and was about to sleep but before he does, he pressed a small kiss on his wife's forehead and connected his new wedding ring with Jennie's.
