"Sorry, did you wait for a long time?"
After driving for about thirty minutes through the busy roads of Seoul, Yoongi finally arrived at the restaurant that he and Eunbi decided to have their dinner date — with the help of Jennie of course. She was the one who organized everything and made sure that no one would talk about seeing Yoongi with a woman in the building.
Of course, Jennie pulled some strings with the help of some people from the sanctuary.
Eunbi shakes her head in response as her date takes the empty seat right in front of her, "It's okay, I only arrived just a couple of minutes ago."
Yoongi gave her a smile in return and they finally decided to order. After experiencing many of their dates getting ruined by some unknown force or just the two of them being unlucky made them even warier each time they would go out on a date.
He was happy that Eunbi is still willing to go out with him on dates even though she has hesitated multiple times on the phone with her cousin. But she loves Jennie dearly and to satisfy her cousin, she keeps on coming to the dates that she would plan for her and Jennie's husband.
Not that Eunbi doesn't like hanging out with Yoongi, she loves hanging out with him but just not in a way that Jennie intends their relationship to end up as. There is a slim chance that she would want to try out a relationship with Yoongi, but with him being married to her cousin? She doesn't know anymore.
After all, she doesn't want to hurt Jennie even though she doesn't know about the couple's feelings towards each other, Eunbi already has an idea but she won't share it with others, she doesn't want to interfere with the couple's business.
But she is here, having fun out on her dinner date with Yoongi.
Their food arrived a couple of minutes ago and they began eating whilst talking about anything that came in their minds. Any topic is worth talking about for Yoongi's case, while Eunbi is just trying to enjoy her date with Yoongi.
"Do you still remember when we were children," Yoongi strikes up a conversation. "We used to play hide and seek in my grandparent's old mansion and found a secret passageway?"
Eunbi's eyes lit up at the memory, "I do — I do!" She exclaims happily whilst trying to finish the food in her mouth. "Then, we almost got lost and Jennie tripped over a large stone and sprained her ankle so you have to carry her on your back."
The two of them laughed at the memory from their childhood. Reminiscing old memories had become one of their main sources of topics of conversation as it always brings smiles and laughter whenever they talk about the said memories.
"Then, when we found the exit, it was a secret door to my grandfather's office," Yoongi chuckles as he takes a bite from his food. "We got punished for snooping around the house after that."
