"I now pronounce you husband and wife," The priest's voice echoed. "You may now kiss the bride..."
Kim Jennie, now known as Min Jennie, is staring back at his newly wedded husband with pure disgust and so is Yoongi.
The two kept staring at each other, their hands intertwined together just like they were instructed while their families happily took pictures and videos of them.
The priest gulped at the tension between the two, "Um, the groom may now kiss the bride."
Yoongi released a small grunt and pulled the veil over her head. That's when he finally had a good look at Jennie's beautiful face.
"Stop staring at me," Jennie hissed. "Just get on with it, I know I'm pretty."
The man rolled his eyes at this and pulled her closer by the shoulders. The crowd began to whistle and cheer in anticipation, waiting for the kiss of the bride and groom.
Even Jennie forced herself to close her eyes as she waited for the said kiss.
But instead, Jennie felt hot lips pressing a warm long kiss on her forehead and much to the crowd's dismay. Nevertheless, they still cheered in delight as the newly wedded couple turned to face them.
"Congratulations, Mr. and Mrs. Min!!"
The memory of their wedding suddenly revisiting Yoongi's mind is not uncommon any more. From time to time, the same memory would visit him at moments when he rethinks his marriage with Jennie. Now, it has become a frequent experience that he remembers that memory. It always comes back to him whenever he would imagine how they will tell their families about what they had been doing, how it would be like to get married to Eunbi, and if Eunbi would even give him a chance as her lover.
Even though he and Eunbi had gotten closer these past weeks, he is unsure if there is an improvement in their relationship — if her feelings had changed for him.
Yoongi can admit that something is changing between the two of them. He doesn't know if he is the only one that notices the sudden change of mood between them. The feeling of physically being with Eunbi has always put a smile on his face — and it still does, but there is something different now — a feeling of bittersweetness if one would say.
The oozing sweet feeling that you feel whenever you see or talk to a person that you have feelings for and the bitter feeling of something fading away — that something is what Yoongi is still trying to figure out.
To say that Yoongi is having a hard time figuring out his feelings would be an understatement. He used to think that falling in love is an easy feat, something that will hit like a truck and you will have to endure the damage. He knew the consequences, of course, of falling for someone but with no one catching you.
