Min Yoongi is having a crisis.
Today is going to be the very first official date that he is going to have with his own wife's cousin, Kim Eunbi, who also happens to be one of his childhood friends. The situation might sound odd for some people but as soon as they find out what's really happening behind Jennie and Yoongi's relationship, they will finally understand.
After the day that Yoongi and Jennie spent in his studio to wait for Eunbi's response, they were able to set the perfect date and location for their date. As adults who have their own jobs and busy lives, finding an extra day in their schedule can sometimes be a miracle.
When he found out that he has a day off on this specific date, a few days after Eunbi agreed to go out with him, Yoongi had a really good feeling that destiny is having its way and this is the sign that what Yoongi and Jennie are doing is a good thing.
"Ah, f*ck."
But having going out on dates also means that there will always be a slight inconvenience that will come.
This time, Yoongi is having a hard time looking for clothes to wear for the date. It is very rare for him to get nervous or scared of something when it is not related to his job as an idol, so when he starts panicking, he doesn't really know what else to do.
Yoongi knew that he needed to call someone, to ask them for help because in just less than an hour, he will have to meet Eunbi by the park.
As an idol, it is very hard for Yoongi to be in a relationship, especially when you are part of a globally known boy band. When going out in public, they really need to be careful because they all know that all eyes will be on them and at least one out of five people will definitely be filming them.
Eunbi and him had already made a plan just in case.
The two of them will meet at a park that will be large enough that there won't be people in a crowd with kilometers between them. They chose the perfect location that is a bit far from the most crowded places in the city and Yoongi decided to make a reservation from a restaurant near the said park.
Yoongi wants their first date to be memorable, but the good kind of memorable. He wants Eunbi to actually have fun with him and he wants to make the most of the time they have together since he doesn't know when he will be free to hang out with next time. If there will even be a next time.
Yoongi began pacing back and forth in his room, staring at the bunch of clothes on his bed. As much as he wants help from other people, he can't really go out of his room just to ask them for help.
It's not that his members will not help him but Yoongi has a bad feeling about asking them for help. They are still processing the fact that he is going out with Eunbi — in which they knew the reason for this — but it still makes them feel guilty and Yoongi understands how they feel.
