A/N: Short chapter. I mean really short.

3rd person

"Yes," Jennie replied, speaking so casually which surprised them. "Yoongi is always like that around my cousin."

"Doesn't that bother you?" Jimin asked.

Lisa nodded, "Yeah, unnie, you're his wife."

But instead, Jennie just shrugged, "It's fine. I'm not bothered by it, like we said, no feelings attached."

They stared at her, unconvinced.

"We can date whoever we want to date."

Jisoo frowned, "And you're sure you're fine with it?"

Jennie nodded, "Yup, in fact, if they ever will be in a relationship, then I'd support them all the way. After all, I want to see the two of them happy."

"Doesn't sound convincing," Hoseok said.

Then, Jennie gave them a reassuring smile, a real one, and waved at Eunbi who was waving back at her from the other side of the room.

"Trust me, it's perfectly fine."

They all stared at her with concern.

"Not to burst anyone's bubble but that's kinda weird," Chaeyoung says. "No matter what you say, even though you both don't have feelings for each other, it's still weird to see your own husband acting around like that with your own family member."

Jennie shrugs and finishes her glass of champagne, "Eh, I'm kind of used to it now."

"You're not supposed to get used to it though!" Jimin argued.

Finally, she sighed and placed the glass down before looking back at her friends.

"Look, when I tell you that whatever is going on between those two is okay, then trust me, it's okay."

"But—" Jungkook was interrupted when Jennie stopped him from finishing his sentence.

"Let me finish first," She tells them. "You don't know the full story behind our marriage and their relationship."

Jisoo crossed her arms, "Then please, enlighten us."

"The truth is... Yoongi likes my cousin," Jennie tells them.

All hell broke loose.

Once again, this corner of the large room went absolutely silent.

Blackpink and Bangtan were shocked at the revelation that Jennie had given them. Whatever it was that they expected to hear was clearly not this.

Shock can be seen spreading on their faces. With their eyes widened and mouth ajar, Jennie could almost laugh at their reactions.

Instead, a small amused smile formed on her face.

"Are you actually serious right now?" Seokjin asked.

The young woman nodded, "Yes, I have no other reason to lie to you guys."

Some covered their mouths while others looked like they could faint.

"He only sees me as a friend, unlike my cousin," She added. "That's why I'm okay with all of it."

Still, her friends were quiet.

She rolled her eyes, "Oh stop being so dramatic! So what if he likes my cousin? Big deal."

"It is a big deal!" Taehyung exclaimed.

Jennie sighed, expecting their reactions to turn out like this.

"Look, it's true that our grandparents had already decided that I should get married to him," She tried to explain. "But Yoongi liked Eunbi, he could've ended up with her if her parents didn't move to the states."

Lisa's mouth opened wider in shock.

"So you're saying that you wouldn't have been Yoongi's wife if your cousin didn't move to the states?!"

"Yup!" Jennie nodded.

Hoseok ran his hand through his hair and exhaled, "Wow, I'm really beginning to think that your life is some weird cliché novel."

The others agreed.

"Well, at least it's not boring."

While everyone kept talking about this new revelation, Jennie kept answering all of their questions.

Their members deserve the truth after two years of hiding it.

"What are you guys talking about?" Asked Eunbi with Yoobgi following behind.

The two brought trays of food for everyone.

"More food!" The younger members exclaimed.

At this point, the other Kim's and Min's in the room had already turned their attention to the group of young adults in the corner.

Jennie smiled and stood up from her seat to walk towards her husband.

Her members and Yoongi's were too busy talking to Eunbi to even care about the two of them.

Yoongi's attention turned to her and offered her the food on the plate that he was holding.

"I thought you don't like sweets?" She asked him as she took a bonbon.

He shrugged in response, "I didn't take these for myself. I know you like sweets."

She raised a brow, "Are you acting nice because my cousin is here?"

Yoongi rolled his eyes at her question, "Please, don't do this right now. Can't you just let me be the good husband that I am?"

Jennie could hear the amusement in his voice making her smile as she took another piece of sweets on the plate.

In the short moment of silence between them, their gazes turned back to their friends who were talking to Eunbi about the couple.

Then, her eyes locked on Eunbi, her dearest cousin. The smile on her face looked exactly like hers. The crescent shaped eyes when she smiles are also identical.

Jennie cares for her cousin, she really does.

Feeling her heart thumping inside of her chest getting louder and louder, Jennie took a deep breath and looked back at her husband.

"Hey, can we talk?"

Yoongi's brow rose at her question, "Why? Something wrong? Did I do something again?"

She giggled, "Nothing, I need to talk to you about something."

Yoongi looked back at their friends and placed the plate down before following his wife.

"I better not be in trouble," He whispered to himself.
