It's been two weeks since Adam got back. We've been trying to keep us quiet. I have no clue why, but just to be cautious I guess.
"Mornin" Adam spoke.
His voice is very raspy and gravely in the morning.
I smiled, "Morning".
"I'm gonna make us some coffee, and then I'll be back" Adam sat up.
I groaned.
"I know".
"Please cuddle me longer".
"We can cuddle more once I got us some coffee"
I kissed him, then he left. I waited for him. I could hear the boys laughing outside. I then decided to go outside with them.
"Morning Amira" Phil smiled at me.
Adam looked at me, "I thought you were staying inside".
I shrugged, "I heard everyone havin a good time out here. Thought I was missing out".
Adam smirked, then continued to make coffee.
"How was your night?" Phil asked.
"Good, where is everyone?".
Phil shrugged, "Off doin their own thing".
"Did you have fun with Pa in town last night?" I asked.
Phil laughed a little.
"He was just telling me about it" Adam spoke.
"Well we got super drunk," Phil took a second, "And I found a lady".
"Well you didn't tell me that" Adam looked at Phil.
"What's her name?".
Phil smiled, "Her name is Zoe".
"Zoe? That's a pretty name" I sat on the log.
"She's a catch, and she's accepting of my career path".
Adam and I looked at each other confused.
"Business man".
Adam laughed a little, "Jesus Phil. When we gotta go, she ain't gonna come with you".
"We'll see, we'll see".
"Anyway," Adam handed me a coffee, "Wanna go back inside?".
"Yeah it's quite cold".
"I don't want you catching something and dying" Adam rubbed his hands vigorously on my arms.
I laughed a little.
"Gross, get a room" Phil joked.
Adam and I went back into the house and wrapped up in blankets on the bed.
"So," Adam took a sip of his coffee, "Zoe".
"Zoe" I laughed a little.
"I've never heard of Phil wanting love, and he seemed pretty... you know. Entranced"
