I woke up behind the cabin, highly unusual for me.
I laughed hysterically, "Come on! You ain't know shit!".
"Stupid kids never learn!" Orville laughed with me.
I placed my hand on my lip. Swollen, blood on my face. So my dream about Orville and I fighting behind the cabin was real. Huh.
I struggled to stand up, then walked to the front of the cabin.
"Holy shit, what happened to you?" Phil looked concerned.
"No big deal," I wiped the blood off my mouth, "Where's Orville?".
Phil laughed a little, "He's getting medical treatment from Laura and Adam inside. They were wondering what happened to him, I guess they'll know".
"Not if they don't help me" I smirked.
"You look pretty beat up" Pa spoke.
"I'd imagine so. Anyway, it was all out of good fun. I think".
Pa and Phil sighed.
"I'm gonna go clean up at the river, I'll be back" I started walking towards the river.
I went to the river and washed my face. I could see my reflection in the water. My face was messed, made me laugh. My lip was swollen, a black eye was forming, and my face was a little bit bruised. There was no getting out of this.
"Phil told me you were over here" Adam spoke.
I laughed a little, "He did, did he?".
"Yeah, you alright?".
"A bit bruised, other than that I'm-".
Adam seemed surprised, "From what?".
"Oh, he didn't tell you that?" I looked at him.
"Oh my god".
I smiled, "Orville and I got drunk and had a little play fight".
Adam kneeled down and placed his hands gently on my cheeks, "Does it hurt?".
"Not really. I'm a little uncomfortable".
"You look it," Adam checked me out, "Need anything?".
"No. I thought you'd be upset".
Adam laughed a little, "You should've seen the fights that James and I used to get into. Pretty sure I cracked a rib".
I smiled.
"Phil started planning the bank job. I think he wants you to be the lead on it with him and Winston. You did get the tip, so it would only be fair".
I shrugged, "Maybe".
"You're really good at planning these things. I think they would benefit from it".
I didn't answer.
"Don't want to?".
"I do, I might actually go now" I stood up.
"If you want, I'm gonna stay here a little bit".
I nodded, then started making my way back to camp. Phil and Winston were sitting by the fire.
"Hey, speak of the devil" Phil smiled at me.
I sat down.
"So to get the details straight," Winston pulled out his notepad, "Bank and trust building have security issues, bank has no money, trust has money. Right?".
I nodded.
"Okay. We still have to get a stealthy plan for this, the mayor seems like a guy we don't want to mess with. Especially Julio. Julio has men after us".
