The Souls Enticement- stalling-

Chapter 6

 Alaska POV

 "Alaska, you know how much our packs hate each other and even you who wasn't there to witness what they did , you still don't want to even think about being mates with a man in that pack because of what they did. Now, tell me are you willingly going to let her do the spell or do we have to force you to it?"

"Why can't you trust me into rejecting him?  It's not as if I'm going to run straight into his arms and shower him with kisses. If anything he should be expecting  a good slap to the face!"

"We don't want you to reject him. It wouldn't work out well with them.  You see your father and Alpha Blake made a pact a long time ago. If there was anybody in our packs who were mates. They couldn't reject each other. They could either go with the females' pack or the males' pack, but none of them could never return to the pack they left. Do you understand now, Alaska?" 

"Why would you guys make a pact like that? Do you even know how hard it would be for the family members? It would most likely be the girl leaving the pack... Which is why I need to have the spell put on me or else-" 

"Or else they're going to take you away and your father is never going to see you again. Alaska, your father loves you and he would most definitely not want his daughter to be in that pack. No, he would murder him, just so you could stay with them. Alaska, you have no choice you have to do this now." Was I willingly going to do this? I mean I never would have thought I would hesitate to do this. This would- no this should be a dream come true. This could be my new beginning. I could choose my mate. "Will I get a new mate or will I just not feel an attraction towards my mate, whoever he is?" 

"No, but I can get you a new mate. If you chose to do so." She said with a poker face. "I can do that? Can I choose my mate? Really? You're not playing some sick game on me are you? You're a witch your probably just-" 

"Little girl if I were you I would hurry your mate has now caught your scent he's running like a mad dog." she started laughing hysterically. "What?" Cade bellowed, " I thought you said you could stall him!" 

"What? You know who he is?" He deadpanned. What the actual fuck is going on here? This is way beyond my knowledge. Some real shit is going on. Does this have to do with what Micheal said? If it did... "What the fuck is actually going on here! You better tell me right now Cade before I decided to tear that fucking face of yours off your body!" I wasn't serious, but I made sure I sounded as serious as possible to make sure I get the truth out of him. "I-Well- Alas-" He kept stuttering. 

"Cade," The witch began to speak, "you mean to tell me she doesn't know? You idiot! This could be hell for both you and your packs!" She yelled in a hoarse voice. "What-!" I didn't get a chance to finish my sentence before there was a scrutinizing howl and I was tackled to the ground. I felt the tingling sensation when our bodies touched. I closed my eyes too scared to open them and let the pull win over. I couldn't let that happen. I couldn't just let my wolf win. I could feel his breath on my face no this can't be happening. I felt tears stream down my face, but still refused to open them. I heard two other wolfs come and started growling. They were probably growling at Cade because I heard him growl back at them. I heard my mate growl and then started whimpering in my ear, probably wanting me to open my eyes. 

He then licked my face and smothered his face in the crook of my neck. I refused to give him the advantage of opening my eyes. I felt him shift and I could feel his warmth being removed from mine. I took this as my chance to run. I opened my eyes and quickly got up. I pushed through the two wolves and managed to grab Cade by his fur and climbed onto him. We zipped through the woods running as fast as he could manage to get out of there. I heard a piercing growl. "Faster Cade! Come on!" I yelled. I couldn't go back there. The pull was too strong I couldn't handle it. I was sure if he turned into his human form and spoke I would be pudding in his hands and I will not give him the satisfaction of thinking I will do whatever he says. He started to close in on us. I could feel him getting closer and closer. This was too fucking much. If I got out of this alive I was going to make sure to kick Cade in the balls for this and every other person who didn't tell me what was going on. 

A: Dad we need you to come now! My mates chasing me and he's gaining on us! 

Dad: Alaska! Where are you? How did he find you? Cade was supposed to take you- 

A: There's no time for this just smell my scent and find us! Hurry, he's catching up and Cade's tiring out. 

I cut the mind link and hoped us he would find us before my mate did.
