"What time is it?"
"Almost six." Casey answered.
"Your parents?" I asked.
"Actually...I'm not sure. Kyle do you know where your dad is?"
"No idea."
"We're gonna be found if we stay here Case." I stated, although I didn't know that we really had any other option.
"Maybe not." She said.I was exhausted. I didn't want to get up. I wanted to melt into the bed. I felt lose and heavy at the same time, lightheaded, but with a pounding headache, sort of a contradiction.
"How much blood did I lose?" I asked squeezing my eyes shut as more broken memories swam through my mind.
"Oh definitely alot." Kyle said.
"Not too much really, it could've been alot worse." Casey countered.
"Glad you two agree." I tried to change my position a bit, it hurt like mad. I saw a cup sitting on the nightstand to my right. Well, there was no way I was grabbing that with my right hand. Kyle was sitting crosslegged on the ground under it though."Hey Kyle you wanna hand me that water."
"Sure thing. " He said standing up. His arm was in a sling and his hand bandaged heavily. He paused. "Man you mean to tell me you can even pick up this cup? Casey what the hell happened to his arm?"
"Not totally certain... Quinn how much can you move your arm?" I lifted my arm off my chest about two inches then dropped it down. Not only did it hurt like crazy, but I was pretty sure I couldn't move it anymore.
I saw Kyle and Casey exchange a glance.

"Quinn your shoulder is dislocated. We need to get you to a doctor." In my head I counted down to their response. 3...2...1...
"No!" Yup, right on schedule. I was frustrated with these two but I repected their wishes and I knew how to replace a shoulder. Okay, so I'd read about it on the internet but I was feeling confident.
"Fine. But Quinn, Hun this is gonna hurt worse than---"
"I get it," he cut me off speaking through his teeth, "let's just get this over with."
"Kyle, I need you to hold him down." I grabbed a face towel out of my bathroom. "Ready?" I asked Quinn. He nodded, I shoved the towel into his mouth, and grabbed his arm firmly yanking it out, around, and in. It took alot more strength than I was expecting. When I finished, tears were pouring down his face. I took the towel out of his mouth and wiped the blodd on my hands with it. The cuts on his arm were far from healed. He was breathing short and fast. Kyle looked horrified. I put one knee on the bed next to Quinn and slipped his arm into a sling as gently as I could then I put my arm around him helping him sit up. He moved himself back so he was leaning aginst the wall. I handed him the cup and he took it with his left hand and drank it. The sling was already turning red from the cuts on his arm. I went through my supplies and grabbed a new role of bandage, some Neosporin and a pair of gloves. I cleaned him up and got a new sling. "So anything else hurt besides your arm and knee?" He wiped the tears from his face with his hand and took a breath. "Not so much. Thanks Case. We should seriously get going though."

With my arm bandaged and what not I felt worlds better and we had to go. I was getting more and more paranoid by the minute.I knew I must look like I'd been to hell and back and if Casey's parents found us in her room, like this...I didn't want to even think about what would happen. I propped myself up from the wall and gingerly attempted to swing my legs of the bed. I eased my injured right leg over the side of the bed with my left hand. I pushed myself up and let myself down onto my left foot first. My knee was throbbing but there was no way I was letting any pain show on my face. I forced myself to stop gritting my teeth and look up. I tried to smile. I think it looked more like a grimace. Casey placed her arm around me and tried to sit me down again. "Quinn you are crazy! Do you have a death wish or something?" I couldn't help thinking that death didn't seem like such a bad option compared to my life. Did I have suicidal thoughts often? I don't know. It had been really tough since mom died.

Quinn was seriously unsettled. I just knew it. There was a sort of pain in his eyes that wasn't physical. I wanted to get him alone. I needed to talk to him. I moved in and Casey stepped back. I put my arm around his waist on the right side. He put his weight on me and tried to take a step but he couldn't stay up. He faltered and put a hand back on the bed. I helped him get up again. This time I gripped his side tighter and used all my strength to hold him up. We made it to Casey's door. I looked back at her.
"I'll drive." She said and grabbed her keys.
We snuck through the house and to Casey's car. I helped Quinn into the font and then hopped into the back.
"I'm taking you guys to the church. I don't want you going back to your house till Quinn is in better shape."
"We can't stay at the church over the weekend. We'll be spotted." Quinn replied in a distant monotone voice.
"Then you guys are staying here."

I turned the key and the engine stopped. I got out and went to Quinn's side. I opened the door.
"Case come on." He said.
"I am hiding you in my room. I'll lock the door. End of conversation you know you don't have a better option."
