Todoroki woke up to a light nudging on his side, he grumbled before slowly turning his head the other direction, just as he got comfortable again another harder nudge pushed his head, he opened his eyes in annoyance before turning to look at the culprit.

It was Dabi.

Dabi motioned for Todoroki to follow him out the den, so with reluctance Todoroki tiredly stretched before quietly following Dabi out.

They walked in relative silence until they reached a large fallen over tree, Dabi easily jumped on top of it, and snickered as he watched Todoroki struggle.

Todo-"Is there any reason for waking me up this early?"

It seemed like the sun was just rising so everything was painted a light peach colour, and the breeze refreshing and soft.

Dabi-"This was around the time you were born, bright and early, probably why you don't like mornings."

Todoroki's tired eyes blinked slowly, now that was interesting, he didn't know much about what it was like when he was born, or what he was like as a pup.

Todo-"oh..what time were you born?"

Dabi-"hm, around~ late afternoon i would say, I was told by this old wolf, he was kinda weird."

Todo-"i see. do you— do you know what i was like as a pup?"

Dabi-"ohhh, that's a good question, you were small, oh so small, and just such a lost puppy."

Todoroki listened with intent as Dabi told him about himself, he learned he was actually quite a loud pup, and that he would like to sleep on his back...a lot.

Todoroki concludes its nice to hear about yourself from another perspective, especially when you know nothing about your pup-hood.

They spent all early morning talking, Todoroki learning about his second oldest brother, and what his mom was like, he learned about his and Bakugo's past relationship (he would deny that slight pang of jealousy in his chest) he even learned about Dabi's extensive scar damage.

He's proud to say that he's related to per Dabi's saying 'one badass motherfucker!'

He is, he supposes.

Todoroki shares things about himself, like what it was like when he grew up, the day he ran away, when he first met Bakugo. They made their way back to the pack, Dabi saying that he was going to say bye before he left.

Sero was the first to notice their presence.

Sero-"hey Todo! and- uh-."

Dabi-"Dabi, nice to meet you too."

Sero-"right! right back at you buddy, oh by the way Bakugo is looking for you Todoroki, he's down by the stream, anyways i'm a busy wolf, adios!"
