Bakugo was shaking he felt his spirit, soul, mind, everything shaking.

He didn't know wether it was from happiness or just shock, but what he knew for sure was his best friend and ex mate is right in front of him.

Bakugo stared into those blue dangerous eyes, he wondered if it was only his ear that wasn't working.

Dabi-"well, not gonna say hi? i'm hurt, truly"

Baku-"shut your rat trap and let me process this.."

Dabi-"still got that colourful language i see."

Dabi was wearing a sly smirk like he knew bakugo was literally tearing his brain apart to try and understand.

Cause the last time he saw Dabi...he was on the brink of death.

::FlashBack::
Dabi and Bakugo were running through the forest, their tired paws carrying them as quickly as possible.
"WHERE IS THAT MUTT!?"
a booming voice that shook the entire forest yelled, it travelled so far it sounded as if it was coming from beside them.
"BAKUGO, you need to hide they don't know your with me! you can save yourself!"
Dabi pleaded to Bakugo as they ran through a shallow river, Bakugo crushing a poor frog in his panic.
"nonono! it's my fault i'm so sorry!"
Bakugo felt the tears trying to break through, he couldn't let them fall, he wouldn't let them fall, this was his fault in the first place.
"bakugo! i don't give a shit!"
"well i do dabi!"
they separated temporarily dodging a tree that came up in the middle of them.
"I HEAR HIM"
"shit! bakugo please!"
Bakugo ignored him instead ran faster trying to tune in, he prayed to the stars that everything was going to be ok.
As he was on his last verse he lost his breath, winded, he lost his footing and fell into a trench, his back paw spraining in the process.
He saw Dabi stop and stare down at him.
"Baku, baby, love, i don't want them hurting you please just stay quiet."
"no are you fucking stupid! this is all my fault let me deal with it."
Bakugo tried to climb back out but was roughly pushed back.
"they'll kill you bakugo, rip your tail and eyes off type of kill."
Bakugo wouldn't lie he was afraid, but he'd be damned if he didn't try to protect the one he loved.
"i can see your gears turning, but please leave it to me, i'm begging Katsuki."
Before bakugo could retort, pairs of paws hitting the wet earth could be heard.
Dabi looked at bakugo and nuzzled him.
"stay safe, please."
Dabi then turned around and started kicking at the dirt with his back paws trying to cover bakugo.
"There you are...you ungrateful dog."
Snarling could be heard from both parties, they were gonna brawl.
"oh i'm sorry, did you overweight boars get tired?"
"the fuck you just call us kid!?"
Bakugo couldn't see but he heard, he heard a paws scuffling across the ground and loud barks being thrown around.
"you'll know better then to make you father mad you know."
"shiver me timber's, i'm so scared."
Dabi lunged at the two wolves getting close enough to land hit on the left wolfs throat.
"oh ho, just wait till your father gets here!"

Bakugo sat in the trench covered in dirt for what felt like hours, to scared to move, but to in love to not not move, it was eerily quiet, so he made a decision. To climb out.
He started to dig ever so slowly just incase someone or something was around.
He finally reached the top and poked his nose through first, sniffing for any scents, his nose caught one, a familiar one at that.
He tried standing to knock the dirt off of him, he shook it all off and tried to find the scent again, he found it and followed it further into the forest from where he was first left.
He stopped dead in his tracks when he heard laboured breathing, he stalked closer to where the noise was coming from.
"DABI!"
Dabi was laying there on the ground, bleeding out and barley breathing, his fur ripped and torn.
"Dabi, can you hear me, say something."
Bakugo rounded to the front of Dabi's body, facing his head he crouched down and nudged his head.
"Baku-"
Dabi was interrupted by a coughing fit and hacking.
"i'm here fucker."
"heh i see that....you gotta go."
"why? let me take you home, your gonna die out here."
"my dad, he's gonna be back. he definitely won't leave you alone without a 'souvenir' we both know that."
Bakugo knew it all to well, when he met Dabi, he was already so broken down, beaten, almost an empty shell, he would always mumble about a little brother he was to late to save.
"i know..i know but if you get up i can get you back, c'mon please."
"kat, *wheeze* i can barley breathe, i won't be able to *cough* move as fast....i'll only slow you down."
Bakugo looked up, trying to find a hidden route maybe, just maybe, he could find somewhere to hide him, nurse him back to have some strength, and then get back on the move, in his efforts of looking he caught a glimpse of a blurry blonde running by, he froze up his breathing shallow.
Bakugo stood up and looked around with his eyes wide and ears twitching.
Then he saw it a small head, big yellow eyes, he first thought it was a bobcat but the small creature moved from behind the shrubs.
"oh! hi there, i'm toga!"
Bakugo snarled at this 'toga' wolf.
"don't worry about me, i'm a friend of his!"
Bakugo looked at Dabi and dabi nodded his head.
"Is he dead!"
"toga shut-up."
"*gasp* he's alive!"
Bakugo stood watching the interaction between the two, he knew Dabi would run off randomly but he didn't except him to have friends just roaming around.
"HEY....BOSS! YOUR KID IS OVER HERE."
Bakugo whipped his head around.
"Dabi c'mon get up."
"baby i can't, just go please."
"i can't just leave you here it's my fault!"
Bakugo went back into a crouched position trying to roll Dabi into a standing position.
"hey~ Dabi you never told us you had a mate!"
"didn't *cough* need to."
"TOUYA!"
"fuck. Toga take bakugo please, he's to stubborn to listen."
"awh, are you gonna be ok Dabiii?"
"i don't know..."
Toga walked up to Bakugo and softly nudged him in the opposite direction.
"c'mon blondie we don't wanna get caught up in this, Dabi's strong he'll come back!"
"no! your fucking crazy!"
"Katsuki, i swear to red hell- just go please i'm begging stop being fuckin- stubborn for once!"
Bakugo looked bewildered, he didn't want to leave but he didn't want to make matter worse.
"Dabi. i could do the 'thing' you know."
"shit right, do it please do it now and hide."
"do what, what the fuck are you two talking-."
Bakugo's body tensed, he couldn't feel anything.
Toga walked back into his line of view and saw blood on her front paw.
"don't worry, i just injected you with venom, now time to leave."
Bakugo couldn't even talk he looked at Dabi and silently begged him.
"YOU STUPID WOLF WHERE IS TOUYA!"
"i-i-i'm sorry, i think he's over here, the forest is big i can't keep track!"
Toga pushed bakugo in the opposite direction and he stiffly started walk, toga pushed him a little harder and he started to trot alongside her.
"don't worry he'll be fine i promise!"
"I FOUND HIM!"
Bakugo tried so hard to stop his body from moving but he just couldn't whatever he was injected with was strong.
"you thought you could hide for long Touya."
that was the last thing Bakugo was able to hear, until a heart breaking cry of pain was heard throughout the entire forest.
