False suspicion

Previously on "Frosted time"

PAW Patrol has rescued the snowboarders. Skye and Ryder had found Neil.

(Skye POV)
I wonder what happened with Ryder and Everest. He's been gone for ages!!
I hope everything will be alright!

Ryder POV

I left Skye. I'm pretty sure it is Neil. Now to check on Everest. I didn't receive any info about Copycat from her.

I went to the place were Everest was patrolling. She was nowhere to be found. I called her through my pup pad.

'Everest! Come in!' I said.

'I'm here! Ryder!' Everest said. 'I have been watching Copycat but he didn't do anything. I'm confused.'

'Huh?' I said, frowning. 'If Copycat didn't do anything, the avalanche wasn't started by him?'

'Maybe' Everest said. 'But an avalanche is very, very rare in Jake's mountain! I'm not sure it was nature...'

'Then let's investigate!!' I said. 'Where is Copycat now?'

'He's flying near Bear rock. I can catch up to that cat on my turbo board.' Everest said.

'Okay!' I said. 'Go after that cat, I'll catch up!!'

'Ice or snow, I'm ready to go!!!' I heard her say as she hung up.

I flew past the avalanche site, made my way to bear rock. It took me a minute to reach there. I saw Copycat but not Everest. Maybe she didn't arrive yet.

'Copycat!!' I called. He flinched.

'Uh? Y-yes?' Copycat said.

'What are you doing here??!' I asked sternly.

'Nothing!' he said.

'Really?' I asked. 'Well then what do you know about the avalanche?'

'Avalanche??!!' He asked surprised. Is it just me or doesn't he really know about it?

'I didn't even know that an avalanche happened!!' Copycat said. 'Honest! I don't!!'

'Really?' I said. 'Then what are you doing here??'

'Well everyone is welcome here, right?' he asked and I nodded a yes. 'I was enjoying the cold breeze!!'

This time I was forced to believe him. And we don't have any proof against him!! So I just let him go.

I made my way back to Jake's cabin, half hiking, half flying. But my mind was completely filled with these questions.

"How did an avalanche occur?"
"What was Capycat really doing here?"
"Has Copycat got to do something with the avalanche?"

It's a mystery....

As soon as I got my mind out of the questions I realised that Everest hadn't showed up!!

Everest POV

'Ice or snow, I'm ready to go!!' I said.

'Arf!! Snowboard!' I said. I hopped on the board and made my way to bear rock.

There were lots of moguls. It was fun to snowboard Turbo on them.

'Yeah!' I said, completely enjoying.

I was near Bear Rock in just fifteen seconds.

As I was jumping over the last mogul, I was knocked out and I fell cold on the snow....

Rubble POV
'Rubble! Another roll of Bandages!!' Marshall shouted rushing from one patient to the other.

'One roll of Bandages coming right up!!' I said, giggling.

I went out to his mighty truck and got another roll. I've been helping Marshall treat the injured snowboarders. Gosh! It's hard work! I could treat myself with a box or two pup treats or burgers!! Yummy!!

A/N:- Get it? Treat? No? It's ok. I just tried a pun.

'Rubble!' Marshall yelled 'Quick! You're wasting precious time!!'

'Coming, Marshall!!' I chuckled. I went up to him.

'Here is your precious bandages!' I giggled.

'Very funny!' He said.

I couldn't help but laugh.

'There you go, sir!' Marshall said. 'You're leg is all wrapped! Don't stand on it often. It'll make the situation much worse!'

'Sure! Thanks Marshall!!' The patient said, patting him.

Just then Ryder arrived. He looked around the room as if he was searching for something.

'Hey Ryder!' I said running to his side. 'Looking for Copycat?' I tried to guess.

'No Rubble' he said. 'I'm searching for...'

'Ryder dude!' Jake said. 'Thanks for rescuing the snowboarders!!'

'No problem Jake!' Ryder said. 'Whenever you're in trouble just Yelp for help!!'

'Alright!!' Jake exclaimed.

Everest POV
I slowly started to stir. I felt cold, numb.

Where was I? Yes! Snowboarding on Jake's mountain!

I still can't open my eyes. I wish there was someone around.

I'll have to wait till I gain complete consciousness. Jake, Ryder where are you? I hope you're looking for me....
