'..... I'm actually from U.S.A. I just moved to Adventure Bay a week ago. I was so happy about it! I'm your biggest fan! I really love your skills, your hairstyle, your eyes, your gear and also your tech-savvy accent, I can go on forever..!'

' Umm..' I interrupted her but she didn't listen. She continued complementing me.

'You know, you're famous in U.S.A too and many other parts of the world. But not as famous as you're in Canada. But I really love you. When I become old enough I'll be a rescuer just like you......'

She continued this racket for about a minute. That's it! I've lost patience.

'Okay, Okay we'll talk about this later. But right now I need to get you home or you're going to freeze out here.'

'Wait a sec! You came to rescue me? But I don't need rescuing!'

'But....' I don't what to say! I mean it's silly to be out here in the blizzard and she wants to stay! She must be crazy! 'So why do you want to stay?' I really wanted to ask her 'ARE YOU CRAZY?' But I decided to be polite and not to hurt her.

'Oh! About that! I actually found a little boy, shivering in the blizzard. I saw him near the beach and I wanted to help him. You usually help others first and mostly don't consider yourself and I'm trying to be like you.'

That's when I realised that she was not crazy. She was more like me myself. I would have done the same too if I was her. I wouldn't have returned to the look out without finding him. And if anyone else would have asked me to go back home, I would have insisted on staying and finding him too and they would've thought I am crazy.

' I'll help you! If you allow me to.' I said. I really wanted to help her but she was the first one who found the boy in the first place. So I think I should ask her permission for it.

Abblin POV
'I'll help you! If you allow me to.' he's asking permission from me??? He's a rescuer he can do it whenever he wants without asking. Oh god! He's so polite. I'll never be like him, not even fifty percent of his patience and politeness.

'Of course, you don't have to ask for it.' I said to him, still thinking why he asked permission.

'Ok, So where was last place you saw that boy?' he said getting on his ATV

'I told you sir, in the beach.' I said to him, getting on his ATV sitting behind him a hand on his shoulder.

'Don't call me sir.' he said looking back at me. I just giggled.

Time skip

We went along the coast. It was now about 6:30, still we didn't see the little boy. 'Maybe someone found him and gave him shelter. Come on let's go back, it's so cold.' I said to him. I heard him laugh.

'We'll go back as soon as we find him or make sure he's ok.' he replied between giggles. I can guess that he's giggling about me.

He stopped all of a sudden. He looked out into the bay. ' What's wrong? Why did you stop?' I asked him. He pointed out into the bay. I looked were he pointed, but I didn't see anything suspicious.

' Huh?' I said.

' Look over there, to the right of the moon. Can't you see it? I think it's the boy.' he said.

I once again took a good look. Yes! He was right! There was a blur figure, more like a kid. 'Good eye, Sir'

'Lets go check it out!' he said. Wow he didn't actually mind me calling him "Sir"

Ryder POV
'Ready?' I asked her. I think she already knows what's going to happen next.

' You're going to transform your ATV into a hovercraft!!?? I'm ready Alright!'

I can't stop giggling. I transformed my ATV and raced to the floating figure. When I got closer I realised that it was the boy, the life jacket is making him float. Exactly just then a piece of ice popped a whole in it. The boy began to sink.

I gasped. ' Wait here! I'll get him before he sinks to the bottom of the bay!' I said to Abblin and dove down into the ice cold water, holding my breath.

As my eyes adjusted to see underwater I found out that the current was strong.

Okay, the next chapter and the following chapter will be the leading event for the climax.
