Aisha's POV:

It had been 2 weeks since Darshan left. It was our birthday and I (refer image) missed him so much. I was laying on the sofa, my head shoved in a pillow, covered in a blanket, looking at my phone. I was waiting for Darshan's call. Niu pulled my phone out of my hand and sat down next to me. "Admit it. He forgot," she said. I shook my head. "He hasn't called you. It is 5 pm," she urged. I looked away.

2 Hours Later...

The doorbell rang. I opened the door, uninterested. "Hi, Aqua!!" Darshan cheered, putting his bags inside. My eyes widened and I hugged him, tightly. He wrapped his arms around my chest. "I missed you!!" He cheered. I kissed him, hard. He held me close, kissing me back. He pulled away and kissed my neck, softly. I laughed. "What the hell are you doing here?" I asked. "Surprise," he smiled. I giggled and pressed my lips to his. I forgot that we were still at the door. He held my chin and kissed me softly. I cupped his face, deepening it but not roughening it. He pulled at my lower lip and kissed my forehead. "Get a room, clowns," Tara called from behind. Darshan lifted me and took me to my room. He threw me onto the bed and laid down on his stomach beside me. He looked so adorable in his denim on denim outfit and messy hair. I played with his hair, laying on my side. He caressed my cheek. The silence was so comfortable. He pulled me close by the neck, hugged me around my back and I closed my eyes, shoving my head into his neck. "Happy birthday," he whispered and I smiled. He planted a kiss on my head, before going home to get changed. I sat up. The girls looked at me, guiltily. "It's okay. I forgive you," I mouthed, blowing them a kiss. They smiled and walked to the kitchen. Around 15 minutes later, Darshan walked in wearing pineapple shorts and a white t-shirt. I flopped down on my stomach next to Darshan who was also on his stomach. I played with his hair and he closed his eyes. "Happy birthday," I whispered. He opened his eyes and smiled, pecking my head. I cuddled up close, happily sleeping in his arms.

I know it is cheesy. But, I loved being around him. After Mamma and Papa, he was my most favourite person. My Dumpling.

"FOOD!!!" Someone yelled, loudly from downstairs breaking my peaceful sleep. I groaned and trudged downstairs, lazily, Darshan following like a total zombie. "What's for dinner?" I asked, yawning. "Mac 'n' Cheese and a new pile of books," Jyugal said, handing me a new series. 'The Infernal Devices'. I gave him a sleepy smile, shooting lazy finger guns at him before pulling a plate onto my lap. I took a bite and smiled. "Nishe food," I said, sleepily. They laughed. I ate everything and left the plate in the kitchen, dragging myself to my room. Darshan was already there. I cuddled up into his side, hoisting my leg on him and Darshan stuffed his head into my neck and I played with his hair, sleeping on my stomach. I pressed my cheek to his and closed my eyes. "I lve you, Aua," Darshan mumbled. "Lve you t, Dmplin," I muttered back. He hugged me and we fell asleep.

The Next Morning...

I woke up bound in Dumpling's arms. I slid my hand into his shirt, pressing myself into his warm body. He nuzzled himself closer and opened his eyes, slowly adjusting to the light. "Good morning, Ishu," he smiled. "So jaa, kamine," I ordered, shoving his head into the pillow. He giggled. "You're so warm and toasty," I said, humming happily. He kissed my cheek, lightly. "Aaj toh tere liye surprise hai," he whispered. "Baadme, yaar," I mumbled into his chest, wrapping the blanket around us, tightly. Our bodies were sandwiched together, his hand on my thigh, my hand under his shirt. He shifted around and pulled off his shirt, letting it fall onto the floor. I placed my head on his chest and drew random shapes on his heart.

Darshan's POV:

I saw that adorable face and my heart melted. I played with her hair and she slowly drowsed. I hugged her and closed my eyes.

"Okay, woah," someone half-yelled. We sat up, groggily. "What?" Aisha groaned. "What are you two doing?" Jyugal asked. "What? Hum toh so rahe the," Aisha replied, so cutely. "Are you sure?" He asked, teasingly. "Tu toh aaj pitega," Aisha said, getting up in a hurry, almost falling. He ran. I ran behind them to save Jyugal from Aisha's wrath, forgetting my shirt. "Woah!! Darshan, put a shirt on, bro!!!" Tara and Alisha yelled. "Save me, Niu!!" Jyugal hollered, trying to run into the kitchen. "Nobody can save you today. Aaj toh teri maut hai!" Aisha called, blocking the kitchen's doorway. She chased him all the way to the backyard and I followed, putting a shirt on while running. "Aisha, don't kill him. He is my brother!!" I yelled as Aisha chased him around the house. "Listen to Darshan, Asher!!" Jyugal screamed, trying to find a way into the house. Aisha ran behind him and tackled him to the ground. "Vaapis aisa bakwaas karega?" She asked, threateningly. She looked so scary. "Nahi, sorry," Jyugal said, turning his head away. "Good. Very good," Aisha remarked, getting up and brushing her hands and walking off as if nothing happened. I chuckled, tapping my index finger on my forehead. "Yaar, she is scary," Jyugal mumbled. I nodded.

11 am...

Aisha walked downstairs looking stunning as always. "Chalein?" She asked, cocking her head to the side. I nodded. We walked to her car and I sat down behind the wheel. "Aye, mujhe drive karna tha," she whined, stomping her feet. "No, surprise mera hai. Toh, I'm driving," I explained and sat next to me, acting grumpy. She buckled herself and adjusted the seat to lean back comfortably. I looked at her. She blew kisses into the air. I shook my head, chuckling. "I love you," she said before pulling a blanket onto her and closing her eyes. "Tu soyegi?" I asked. She nodded, pouting to control her laugh. I scrunched my nose. "Why you so cute?" She asked. I laughed as I continued to drive.

We reached Vihar Lake and she sat up in excitement. "Yeh surprise tha?" She asked, her mouth forming an 'O' shape. I nodded, shrugging with one shoulder. "Eeeep," she shrieked, hugging me before opening the door and trying to get out, forgetting her seatbelt. "Ayeee," she groaned, unbuckling herself, running outside. "Chal, jaldi kar, Dumpling!!" She called in a baby voice, gesturing me to come outside. I smiled at her excitement. I ran to her and she held my hand, pulling me to the nearest rock. We removed our shoes and she dipped her legs in, sighing contentedly. I looked at her, taking the time to map her features. My hand reached to caress her jawline. She looked at me. I looked into her eyes filled with love. "Whatcha lookin' at?" She asked, giggling. I shook my head, feeling her skin. She had acne scars that made her look cuter. I pulled her closer. How did I think I would ever be happy with someone else? Why did I hurt her? My Aqua. "Dumpling, can we jump in?" She asked. I shook my head. "You'll fall sick," I said. She pouted, grumpily. I picked her up and took her to the car. We laid down in the fort at the back and I kissed her. She kissed back as if she were afraid of breaking me. She pulled away. "Gabbu, how did I get so lucky? How did I get the nation's heartthrob all to myself?" She asked. "I'm the lucky one. Not you. But, we have each other now. And, we're gonna cherish it," I whispered. She grinned, crawling to the dashboard and opening the sunroof. She laid on top of me and pulled my cheeks. I scrunched my nose. She giggled.

That's when I knew. This girl was the one I wanted to spend the rest of my life with. Get married to and love for the rest of my life.
