XXXV. You're Almost Mine

THE ENGAGEMENT DAY (19th JULY)

Aisha's POV:

I woke up, groggily rubbing my eyes. "Hi," the girls smiled. I shrieked. "You scared me," I gasped. They chuckled. "Breakfast," Niu said, placing a tray on the bed. "Wait. Why aren't we going downstairs?" I asked. "We can't let Darshan see you. We want to surprise him in the evening. And, if he sees you, he is definitely going to kiss you. It's been a week, right?" Tara said. I chuckled, nodding. "Aww. He is crazy about kissing you," Shraddha teased. I blushed and walked to the bath to brush my teeth and get dressed (refer image). I walked out and sat on the bed, calmly eating my breakfast. "Give me your ring. Darshan tujhe shaam ko pehenayega," Niu said. I removed it and placed it in the box that she held out. I continued eating the crepes and egg rolls. "How are you so chill?" Niu asked. "I am only getting engaged. To the love of my life. Calm down," I chuckled. 

Darshan's POV:

"Where are the girls?" I asked, sitting down beside Aarav. "Oh, you're banned from seeing Aisha for a day. You can see her only in the evening," Jyugal smirked. "Why? I haven't seen her in a week. She had to go to a salon for a random hairstyle trial or something. She had to organize her makeup. What the hell?" I whined. "Well, she IS the BRIDE," Sid said, dramatically. I groaned and continued eating. They laughed at me. We finished eating and walked to our suite. Niharika walked towards us. "Hi," I said. "Hi. Sid, here. Aisha's ring," she informed, handing him the ring. 

I walked around my room, thinking about the event. 

Aisha's POV:

Summer and Neel were reaching in 30 minutes and I was bouncing around. The door opened and Neel ran up to me and jumped into my arms. I shrieked, spinning him around. Summer kissed my cheeks and walked into Niu's room. They were going to share. "Hi, Mashi," Neel giggled, kissing my cheeks. I kissed him back and rubbed my nose on his cheek. He giggled. I sat down on the couch and Neel played with my hair. "Who's this?" Shraddha cooed, sitting next to me. "Neel," Neel said, climbing onto her lap and playing with her hair. She smiled and looked at me, her eyes filled with awe. Summer sat next to me. "How you been, Asher?" She asked. We talked about everything that happened since she left. 

Around 2 pm...

Neel was sitting in my lap in my room. We were watching 'We Bare Bears' on my Ipad. "I like Glizzly," Neel said in his baby voice. God, his baby voice was so cute. I chuckled and kissed his hair. "Where is Uncle Dalshan?" He asked. "You can see him in the evening," I said. He smiled and turned, cuddling into my chest and closing his eyes. I laid down on the bed after putting my Ipad away. 

2 hours later...

Shraddha walked inside with my engagement outfit. "Chal, start," she ordered. I pointed at Neel who was still asleep. She slowly picked him up and laid him beside me. I got up and ran into the shower. I took a nice warm bath and put on a new white bathrobe. I walked outside and sat down. Alisha walked in with my makeup kit. She was so good at makeup. No kidding.
