THE HALDI DAY (24th JULY)
Aisha's POV:
I woke up at 5 in the morning. I looked around before going to the shower. I took a warm, long shower to open my sleepy eyes. I walked out in my bathrobe and saw Darshan on my bed. He fell asleep while we were talking the previous night. I poked his cheek, kneeling on the floor. He grunted. "Darshan. Wake up," I said. "Kyun?" He asked. "Haldi hai aaj!" I exclaimed. He shot up. "Go to your room. See you later," I said, pushing him out and walking to Alisha's room. I woke her up and walked to my room.
Alisha walked in. "Dekh, I am going to apply the BAREST amount of makeup today," she said. I nodded. She applied a light coat of concealer and red lip gloss and that was it. I smiled and she walked out, yawning. I put my lehenga on and spun around. "Ready?" Niu smiled. "Almost," I said, pointing to my hair. Alisha walked in and sat me down, lazily working on my hair.
"Cute," I smiled and Alisha smiled at me, walking outside.
Darshan's POV:
I sat down with the boys, completely dressed, yawning. "Bhai, Haldi teri hai, humari nahi," Hardil yelled. I rubbed my eyes and shook my head.
We reached the venue and I smiled. It was really pretty and so was Aisha.
She looked so simple and beautiful. Like she does every day. That's how I like her. She looks so perfect without all the makeup. I walked towards her and she smiled, softly. Masi was sitting beside her, along with Dad. The jackass husband was behind Masi. I sat down next to Aisha and kissed her nose. She giggled and hugged me around my waist. The guests slowly started walking in. Deep walked in and took a picture of us. We smiled and waved at him. He smiled. "Very aesthetic decor," Shahid praised and Aisha chuckled, high-fiving him. I looked at her. "When I was working with Shahid, I was very obsessed with aesthetics. And, he used to make fun of me for that. Still does," she explained. "She is still obsessed," I said to him. She groaned. "Which 'aesthetic' now?" Shahid asked. "Bohemian," she replied. He nodded, smirking. I laughed at her cute pout.
When all the guests had arrived, Masi, the jackass and Dad, applied haldi on my face and hands. I watched closely as the jackass was applying haldi on Aisha. He walked away. Dad applied haldi on Aisha's face and she smiled. Everyone walked up to us one by one, applying haldi on our faces. Summer applied haldi on faces and Neel pouted. "Mujhe bhi lagana hai," he whined.
Aisha's POV:
"Laga le," I said. He giggled and walked towards us. He dipped his little finger in the haldi and applied it on the only part of my face that didn't have haldi. My nose. I giggled and rubbed my cheek to his. He grinned. Darshan did the same.
After everyone had applied haldi on us, Deep and his team took us to the photo booth. The girls had designed it. "Holy moly," I gasped.
The team took tons of pictures. It was so fun. Later, the guests took pictures. We looked through our pictures on the cameras. "I could hug you. Except, I don't want to ruin your shirt," I said, seriously. They laughed. "All 4 of you have a pending hug. I will give them later," I said as we walked back. The girls handed me a bathrobe, and I tied it around me, walking to the car.
We reached the hotel and I took a shower. Shraddha sent my clothes for dry cleaning. I put on my red skirt and white top, sitting on the bed, ready to nap. "Ash," the girls called entering my room. "Yes?" I said, calmly. "No meeting Darshan until 6 pm tomorrow," they ordered. I nodded and cuddled up under the sheets, taking a good long nap.
Darshan's POV:
I was laying on the couch, bored out of my mind. I had nothing to do. No studio, no Aisha, nothing. I sighed. I looked at the boys who were staring at me. "What?" I asked. "Chal, let's drive around Goa," Hardil offered. I nodded and walked to get my shoes. I put them on and we left. I glanced at Aisha's room. The lights were on and the curtains were drawn. "Yaar, Aisha se tu kal tak nahi mil sakta. So, it is boys day out today," Sid said and hugged me around my shoulder. We walked to the car and Jyugal got into the driver's seat. We drove outside, taking in the scenery and the fresh, beach air. I looked at a cafe. Cafe Chocolatti. I made a mental note to tell the boys on our way back. We drove around for hours and a little mini photo shoot. I sat on top of the car and took in the green air. It calmed me down and took my mind off of tomorrow. I was getting married. My life was going to change COMPLETELY. I looked at the ring on my right hand, twisting it. "Bhai, kya soch raha hai?" Jyugal asked. I held up my hand. They sighed. "AISHA se shaadi ho rahi hai teri," Hardil said. "She loves you to pieces, man," Sid continued. "Chill, she is going to support you through EVERYTHING," Jyugal said, nudging me. I nodded and sighed. I got off the car and we drove to the cafe.
Later, we drove back to the inn. I saw the girls and Aisha turned around, hiding her face in her palms. We smiled at the others and walked to our suite. I watched as the girls walked towards the pool.
Aisha's POV:
I was getting married tomorrow. Darshan and I would be together, permanently. He would be all mine. I huffed, loudly. "Kya hua?" Shraddha asked, placing a hand on my knee. I looked at her. "Teri shaadi DARSHAN se ho rahi hai. He loves you so much. And, he is going to support you," Niu said, swimming up to the edge where I was sitting.
Life was changing so soon.
