Hardil's POV:
I walked to Alisha's house for planning Aisha and Darshan's wedding. She opened the door and pulled me in. Everyone but Aisha and Darshan was there. "Okay, peeps. Panditji se baat kar li hai," I said, sitting in the beanbag. "Haan. Kya bola?" Alisha asked. "Dates. Um, they wanted June to September ke beech, na?" I asked. "Yes. Baarish ke mausam mein shaadi karni thi dono ko," Aarav exaggerated. We chuckled. "Okay, engagement April mein. Right?" I asked. "Nahi. We're gonna do the engagement before the Mehendi," Sid replied. "Engagement on the 19th of July. Okay?" I said. "Okay," Jyugal said, writing it down. "Fix?" I asked. "No. We will ask the dulha-dulhan and then fix it," Riaan said, dramatically. "Okay. Shaadi ke liye 21-27th of July?" I offered. They wrote it down. "Locations?" Jyugal asked. "Aisha has this plot in Goa. By the beach. Huge plot. There?" Niu suggested. "Haan, Aisha was saying she wanted a beach wedding," Alisha pointed out. "How many properties does this lady have?" Jyugal asked. "Three. Mumbai ka yeh ghar, Goa, and LA," Tara said. "Two beach plots, huh? This girl is crazy about beaches," Sid chuckled. "Okay, Goa wala plot will feel like home. Right?" Jyugal smiled. We smiled and wrote it down too. "Shopping?" Sid asked. "Lemme call the dulha-dulhan. Phir fix karenge," Tara said, calling Darshan.
Aisha's POV:
Darshan and I sat down with the gang. "Shopping ka tum log kya decide kiya?" Aarav asked. "Nothing yet. Except for the colours that we're going to wear to all the events," Darshan said. "Speak," Jyugal ordered. "Engagement mein peach, Mehendi mein green, Sangeet mein lavender, Haldi mein yellow, Shaadi mein red, Reception mein black," I replied, counting on my fingers. "Okay. Wait, no blue? You okay, Darsh?" Riaan asked. "Blue is for decor," Darshan said. They nodded. Sid handed me the paper with the dates on it and the location. Darshan and I read it and looked at each other, nodding. "We're in," we said together, handing them the paper. "Seriously? No work drama?" Tara asked. "Accordingly plan kar lenge. Chaaya will be happy," I shrugged. "Naushad Bhai, too..." Darshan started before his eyes went wide. "Shit, I didn't even tell him about the proposal," he gasped. "Tera khoon ho jaana hai," I chuckled. Darshan ran away with his phone. "Hey, BTW, what have you decided to gift Darshan for the wedding?" Jyugal asked. I smirked and had him follow me. "Inko baadme bata diyo," I whispered. I took him to my closet and showed him the painting I was working on. A picture of Darshan and me. Our most precious picture. The one we took at the age of 2. A picture of Darshan kissing my cheek. He dressed in a suit and me in a dress. "Okay, woah. That is amazing," Jyugal praised. I blushed, smiling. "He's gonna cry," Jyugal said as we walked to the gang. We sat down and Jyugal whispered it to everyone else. They smiled. The doorbell rang and Darshan opened the door. Naushad Bhai. "I feel violated," he said, sitting beside me. I hugged him. "Oh, wait. You're okay with the location we thought of, right?" Niu asked. "Yeah," I replied, smiling. "Location?" Bhai asked. "For the events. Um, my plot in Goa. It's by the beach," I replied, looking at him. "Ooh. Cool," he smiled. I chuckled. "Looks like this marriage is going to be the talk of the town," he hinted. I giggled and Darshan smiled. "Guests choose karke khatam kare?" Sid asked. "Not yet," Darshan said. "Tu log kya shaadi karoge? Koi excitement hi ni hai," Riaan asked, giving us a look. "O. Hum karenge. It is in process. You gotta chill, bro," I said, dramatically. Riaan nodded, mimicking my face. I stuck my tongue out at him. "And, um... what else?" Jyugal asked. "Well, location and dates have been finalized. Colours too," Darshan began. "So, shopping, cleaning crew for the house, because I haven't been there since 2016 winter, decorator, photographers, invitations, guests, and hotel rooms for the fam. Ooh, and Darshan's ring," I mumbled, writing it on a sticky note. I wrote the stuff that was done too and ticked them."Okay, I want the guest list by the end of next week," Jyugal said as if he were in a business meeting. "You the committee head?" I teased. "Yep," he said, proudly. "Okay, I will give it to you. The cleaning crew, BTW, is a minute away," I said, picking up my phone. I made a call and the cleaning crew was booked. And, the supervisor was a friend. "Booked," I smiled. "What?" Jyugal asked. "Um, I have a friend who owns a cleaning company in Goa. We're set," I cheered, fanning myself with attitude. "Who?" Darshan asked. "One of the Dance Society girls from school," I smiled. He nodded. "They will do the cleaning on the 15th of July. We go there, high-five her and go back to the hotel. Pristine," I declared, resting my elbows on my knees and smacking my lips. Jyugal smiled at me. "Engagement ka location?" Jyugal asked. Silence took over. "Goa mein hi engagement karenge na?" Tara asked. "Haan," I pointed out. "Right. Confusion ho gaya," Jyugal said, shaking his head. "Shaadi ka excitement Feb se hi chalu?" Bhai asked, smiling. "Yes!!" The girls cheered. The doorbell rang. I opened the door revealing Shraddha. "Hi, Di!!" I cheered, hugging her. She wrapped her hands around my stomach. "You forgot me, na?" She pouted. "Yaar, tu shoot mein thi. So, I texted and didn't call. Mujhe thodi pata tha that tu messages ni dekhti," I answered. She kissed my cheek and sat down with us. "Full tayaari chalu?" She smiled. We nodded. She got along with everyone. We told her everything and she listened, intently. "Ek suggestion doon?" She asked. I looked at her. "Try keeping the paparazzi away as much as possible," she warned. I laughed. "Will try," Darshan said. She smiled, sighing. "Wait, I am already going live on Instagram to tell the fans this Sunday," he said, eyes widening. "It's fine. Just be careful," Shraddha replied. We nodded, solemnly. "Di, tu humare se saath shopping karne chalegi na?" Niu asked. "Of course," Shraddha returned. We smiled.
Looks like phase 1 was a success...
A/N: I am so thrilled about their marriage. *excited shrieking* The next few chapters will be about planning and SHOPPING. I love shopping. And, then we'd get into Asher's bachelorette. And, then the ACTUAL events. So brace yourself. There is going to be A LOT. I mean it. Okay? Okay. 👌👌
