Aisha's POV:
We were in Goa. I was getting married to the love of my life in a week. We walked inside the resort, all 12 of us. The gang, Shraddha and Naushad Bhai. "Main keys leke aata hoon," Darshan said, walking to the reception. "Yaar, teri shaadi ho jayegi toh humara kya hoga? I know ki hum teen shift ho rahe hain to the boys' house, but, phir toh humare girls' night will become non-existent," Niu asked, laying her head on my shoulder. "Kaun bola?" I asked, raising an eyebrow. She shrugged. I shook my head, chuckling. "Thoda drama toh banta hai," she mumbled. I laughed. Darshan placed his chin on my shoulder and handed me the keys to my suite. I smiled and we walked to the suites. "Ishu," Darshan whispered. I looked at him. "Baadme swimming chalein?" He asked. I nodded and walked with the girls.
Darshan's POV:
I walked inside my room and locked the door. I got changed and laid down, my face in my palms. Was I going too fast? What if Aisha wasn't ready? What if she is still angry about the past? I sighed, exasperatedly, pacing around the room. I ran my fingers through my hair, annoyed at myself. Someone knocked on the door. Sid. "Kya hua?" I asked. "Lunch mein kya chahiye? We're ordering," he asked. "Uh, tum log jo kha rahe ho," I mumbled, turning away and closing the door again. He knocked again. I grunted and opened the door. "You okay?" He asked, looking at me weird. I nodded, trying to close the door. He walked in and sat down. I locked the door and sat down, leaning on the door. "Kya hua?" Sid asked. "Nothing," I replied. "Darshan, tu kisko ullu banaa raha hai?" He asked, making a face. "Fine, fine, fine. What if Aisha isn't ready for such a big commitment? What if she is still mad at me? What if I'm going too fast? I mean..." I vented until Sid smacked his forehead, his elbow rested on his knee. "What?" I complained. "Chill. You're just getting cold feet. Kuch ni hoga. Zyada mat faad," he stated, giving me a 'WTF' look. I buried my face in my palms. "Ek kaam kar. Go and talk to Asher. You'll feel better. Chal, uth. Tab tak hum khaana order karte hai," he ordered, pulling me up and pushing me out the door. I walked to the girls' suite and knocked, my hands in my pockets. Shraddha opened the door. "Hi, what's up?" She asked. "Aisha hai?" I asked. "She's in her room. Ja," she commanded, pointing to Aisha's room. I gave her a slight smile and walked in. I knocked on Aisha's door. "Who is it?" She yelled. "Me," I said. She opened the door and I walked in. She closed the door and leaned against it, her hand resting on the knob. "What's up?" She asked. "I want to talk," I replied, sitting on her bed, facing the wall. She pushed off the door and sat next to me, facing me, her legs crossed. "Uh, do you think we're going too fast? I mean, it hasn't been long since we got back together. And..." I started before she hugged me around my shoulders, her body not moving an inch. "We aren't going too fast, D. I love you. And, I want to spend the rest of my life with you. I'm not mad at you anymore. Okay, Dumpling?" She replied, planting a tiny kiss on my neck. I smiled at her. "I love you so much, Ishu," I mumbled, hugging her close. She kissed my neck, softly, before sitting in my lap. "What's up?" I asked. "It's just... we've grown up so much. I still remember our first kiss. God, I was so happy. It was so magical. You were so cute back then. No beard and glasses. So cute," she sighed and chuckled. I smiled, nostalgia hitting me hard.
Aisha's POV:
He slid his hand into my hair, caressing my cheek with his thumb. "I'm so happy that you're still the same Ishu I knew. Only better," he smiled. I chuckled, breathily. I hugged him tighter, burying my face in his neck. He wrapped his arms around me, pulling me into him. We sat like that, basking in the love around us until someone knocked. "It's open," I yelled. Tara walked in. "Okay, I'm leaving," she said. "Tara, kya hua?" I asked. "Um, lunch? The boys called us in. Chalein?" She asked. "Give us five," I requested. She smirked and nodded, leaving. "What?" Darshan asked. I kissed him all over his face and pecked his lips. "I love you, Dumpling," I mumbled into his neck and he smiled. We got up and walked to the other suite. "Ho gaya? Romance?" Tara teased. "Fuck off," I snapped, sticking my tongue out at her and sitting down between Riaan and Naushad Bhai, high-fiving Bhai. "What's for lunch?" I asked. "Paneer," Sid replied. "YAS!!" I almost yelled. Bhai laughed at my excitement. I smiled. Darshan looked at me and I winked, slightly. We started devouring the food, passing all the dishes around. I clicked a picture, for my wedding book. "Aisha," Shraddha called. I looked at her. "The painting is here," she mouthed. "I can't collect it. You know I can't," I mouthed, back. "I will, okay?" She mouthed, again. I nodded. "What the hell?" Darshan asked, amused. "Nothing!!" We said, in unison. "A-okay," Darshan said, going back to his food.
