Lisa drives now on our way home and I am finding the right moment to ask her.
God. I can't wait but I am nervous at the same time.

"Are you okay? Do you need anything? You look uneasy since we left our friends. Let me know."
Lisa asked me as she drives.

"I— I am hungry."
I said. I really am. Maybe because of my nervousness.
Lisa laughed.

"Oh! Hmmm. Then let's get something to eat! Are you ok with hot donuts or burger?"
She asked me. Hmmm. Hot donuts sound cool.

But
"I want both!"
I said and Lisa is smiling.

"Of course! Anything for you as long as I can afford."
She said and here we are at the drive thru.

"This is where I work for my part-time job. Aside from warm donuts, we also have the best cheap burgers here. Your coffee, iced or hot?"
She asked.

"Wow! You work here? So cool! Iced please."
I said and I am so amazed of how Lisa deals with life. Like she also makes way how to help her parents.

She is ordering now and she took her wallet out.

"Hey! Let me pay."
I insisted.

"No. This is on me."
She said while she opens her wallet.

"Lisa, please?"
I tried.

"No."
She said and smiled. I didn't argue anymore as she just took my breath away thru her smile. Damn. Why is she captivating me that easy, huh?

When she pulled out her money, I saw my face in her wallet where a photo is usually placed but it's a hand drawn sketch instead. Wow!

I took her wallet and she was surprised.

"Wow!"
That's all I said because I became speechless.

"Sorry.
Hey. Let me know if you're not comfortable. I'll take it out."
She said worriedly and a bit nervous.

"No. Keep it. Forever. Just put it there."
I said and smiled at her.

Lisa brought me to the bridge near the pier where no one passes by at this hour. The place is warm lit and we can see the waters and yachts that reflects at the surface.

She opened my car's compartment and we sat in there and ate while we watch the moon and the waters.

She gave me the donuts and made sure it won't burn my hands.

God. It's so delicious and Lisa is happy that I like it.

"If you have one wish right now, just the first thought that comes in your mind at the moment. What is it?"
I asked her.

Lisa took a deep breath and looked at me.

"I wish to have you. Forever. I just— I love you, Jennie."
She said while catching some air. She can't breathe properly.

"But as I always say, I won't bug you anymore about it."
She said and looked down.

I bit my lip.

"How about you?"
She asked back while still looking down.

I lifted her chin and made her face me.

"My wish? Well, I wish you'll say yes."
I said and she doesn't look away from my eyes. Curious.
