    Harvey never wanted to be popular. He was a natural.

   After all, he did have the wealth, social skills, and looks in his favor. Plus, he joined the soccer team as soon as he entered middle school and remained there since. With several years of excessive exercise, his body sculpted beautifully—so beautifully that the school automatically cast him as Hercules in a Greek play. (For the record, the looks did not make up for the lack of vocal talent).

In other words, he had the life everyone envied. The life everyone wanted because, in their eyes, it was perfect.

Far from it if you asked him personally.

It was sophomore year when he concluded that there was something different about him. In previous years, he would stare at pictures of men in the underwear aisle of the stores and thought he was interested in them simply because he wanted to look like them. However, he soon began to realize that he wanted more than that when he decided to take a peek at gay porn.

The realization was instant.

The way two men can bring pleasure to each other thrilled him and caught his attention a little too much. And as he watched the men travel their mouths over their bodies, he rested his fingers on the hem of his underwear until he slowly sneaked his hand underneath. Their movements, their bodies, their moans—everything about it felt right.

Just as he was about to finish, he received a text.

But then there were those videos where the parents would kick their children out of the house to wander on their own that scared him off. Then there was this one specific video that unraveled the upcoming catastrophic turn his tenth year took.

   In this video, the guy mentioned an app called Neighborly! According to him, he found his first love when visiting the app.

   That's all he needed to hear, instantly getting off YouTube and heading straight to the App Store. He downloaded the app and began to sign in, faking his age to gain access. Before his account was finalized, the app asked him if he was looking for males, females, or both.

   He thought about it thoroughly and tapped on males.

   Pictures of several men popped on his screen as soon as he was done making his account. To his surprise, none of them were shy of being outspoken on what they wanted. And what they primarily wanted was sex.

Seconds in, he received a message.

   Before replying, he clicked on his profile to find out he was 37, and then checked his pictures. There was no face, but his body was present. In the first picture, he was wearing a suit with a purple tie. On the next one, he was unsurprisingly shirtless, showing his dad bod (not fat, but not muscular either) with a hairy chest.
