Anna Delaney
I should have said something to wipe that stupid grin he had plastered all over his face for the rest of the day. I usually don't submit like that. Not without a fight. I made my way back home angry at the fact that I let that prick win. I surely won't allow that to happen tonight.
When I got to the apartment, I was home alone for once. Nat was still at work and Brielle was still at the hospital I assumed. After a quick nap, I washed my face and got ready. Once again, I curled my ombre blonde hair and then made way to open the box that was placed on the bed. It's a bit concerning that whoever dropped off the dress for Damon was able to get in without a key or such. A problem and fight for later.
The dress was a stunning, a dark red polyester body con dress which stopped very low for cleavage. It was tight against my breasts pushing them forward and very tight against my butt. Of course Damon was going to make me wear something like this. For his own amusement.
Thinking Damon was calling, I answered with venom in my voice, "What?" I asked as I answered the call.
"Um-hey Anna," it was Derek.
"Oh my- I am sorry. I thought you were someone else," I laughed.
"That's alright but I need to talk to you seriously," he stated.
"Oh. Is everything alright?"
"Yeah, it is fine. Honestly, I really enjoyed hanging out with you but I can't anymore. And before you ask, it was nothing you did," he said before he hung up leaving me shocked.
Whatever just happened. I had to wait until after dinner as another buzz ran through my phone indicating Damon was waiting outside. I slipped on the white-pointed heels that had a lace lining and walked to his car. The driver, I am assuming, opened the door to the black SUV. He was sitting at the end of the car with his upmost concentration on his phone. The divider for the car was up so the driver and passenger seat were separated from the two of us.
As we headed to the restaurant, Damon was still concentrating on his phone, not bothering to look at me. Deciding I didn't want to sit silently I opened my mouth, "You clean up nice," I complimented.
"Can't say the same about you," he started to chuckle. It was a genuine laugh, unlike those fake laughs he hands out at every meeting.
"Jerk," I stated and laughed a bit myself.
"Honestly, I didn't think that you would actually wear the dress," he said smiling.
"You told me you would deduct the dress from my paycheck if I didn't and I am earning every penny," I said with the emphasis on the 'p' in 'penny.' He mumbled something, probably a comeback but I could not understand as the car stopped and our doors were opened to the restaurant we would be dining at.
