ANNA DELANEY

"Holy. Shit," I cursed looking at my reflection through the vanity. My luscious blonde hair was gone, replaced by my original hair color, brunette. I looked different but in a good way, I liked having my old, younger self back for the time being. It took a lot of convincing on Hal's part but I loved it.

"Come on," Hal said, ushering me out of the chair as he led me to the changing rooms. "I've hand selected many outfits and dresses. Once you get dressed, come out and we'll make the alterations."

"Oh okay. Thank you," I smiled awkwardly walking into the room finding one of a kind dresses made by the most expensive fashion brands of the world. Smiling, I ran through the rack quickly trying them on and stepping onto a platform in front of a mirror so Hal and his employees could make alterations and determine which outfits suited me best. Then, from dresses we moved onto jeans, leggings, work out clothes, pajamas, basically every possible outfit that I could ever need. After doing so, the topic changed to shoes where I tried on heels, sneakers, and more. Then, accessories like jewelry, hats, and more.

We finally finished as Damon appeared out of nowhere clad in his grey suit making him appear older than he was while his expensive watch highlighted his veiny hands. His brown eyes swirled with confusion and surprise as he took in my new hair. His mouth laid gaping for a few seconds before his mask of indifference fell over his face.

"Thank you Hal," he said standing next to me sliding his credit card over the table. I didn't want him paying for any of this, I felt guilty allowing him but this was part of the contract right? Processing the transaction, Damon slid his credit card into his pocket placing his hand on the small of my back leading me out of the boutique.

Getting into the car, Damon started the engine as he explained. "They'll deliver your things in a day or two. Anytime before Natasha's birthday."

"Okay, thank you," I hesitated, not sure if I should bring up the payment. "I don't want you to pay for my things like that though," I blurted out.

Damon's lips twitched up before he said, "You wouldn't be able to afford it if I didn't."

"Well if I can't afford it then I don't want it."

"Too bad. It's part of the contract. When you go out, you need to be wearing the best of the best. You're representing me from now on and besides..." he trailed off.

"Besides what?"

"... You deserve it Anna. The best of the best," he said as his eyes lasered onto the road. I did my best to hide my smile but I wasn't strong enough. I don't care about Damon's opinion at all but hearing those words from him caused a swarm of butterflies to erupt causing my blush.

"This isn't my apartment," I said confused as he pulled into a five star restaurant.

"You didn't have breakfast," was all he offered me as we got out of the car.
