Naruto Uzumaki had heard alot of not so nice things from the inhabitants of Konohagakure, yet none of the foul language he had heard from the adults had prepared him for what he was hearing next door. The morning started out with the poor blond jolting awake from a nightmare where he became Hokage only for all of the Ninja to suddenly have butts for heads, forcing the blond to wake up at three in the morning. Unable to get anymore sleep, the boy had decided to go ahead and start his day by sharpening all of his blades for the mysterious test Kakashi Sensei set up for them but the boy wasn't expecting a sudden argument to come from his friends apartment at three fifty five in the morning. Thankfully, the two twelve year olds were the only residents to the plaza but.. It definitely made the boy wonder just who was at his (h/c) haired friends apartment. The words weren't easily made out at times but the Uzumaki could tell it was two girls arguing, one familiar and one not. "I SWEAR TO EVERY GOD IN EVERY UNIVERSE I WILL RIP YOUR THROAT OUT WITH MY TEETH YOU BRAT, DON'T YOU-" the unfamiliar voice cut out with a cat like yowl, hissing taking over as the familiar voice cut the other off. "NANAKO, I GAVE YOU AS MUCH TIME AS POSSIBLE TO MENTALLY PREPARE FOR THIS BUT I SWEAR IF YOU DON'T STOP CLAWING ME I'M GOING TO ONLY FEED YOU HARD CAT FOOD FOR A WEEK! NO, A MONTH! I WONT LET YOU HAVE ANY FRESH SALMON!" A growl echoed throughout the plaza before everything went suspiciously quiet, Naruto hesitantly standing up to check on his friend only to fall back into his chair when a loud bang hit the wall dividing the two apartments, the unfamiliar voice named 'Nanako' speaking up again. "YOU WOULDN'T DARE!" The familiar voice, also known as (y/n) chuckled mercilessly, making the blond sweatdrop nervously before she finally spoke. "Oh? But I would." The next few seconds made even the poor blond bystander hide behind his chair in fear of the noises coming from the apartment next door. Bang, bang, hiss, yowl, demented laughter and a flute maybe? Then finally.. "HAHA! YOU HAVE BEEN BESTED BY THE ONE, THE ONLY-" Crash, bang, thud and then silence again until.. "Doc! A hand please?" The building went silent before clapping could be heard, (y/n) yelling. "NANAKO, YOU SARCASTIC ASS BITCH! GET NANAKO!" And thus, the banging began again. Pots clattered together and the apartment shook with the force of the battle until everything went silent again. After hearing all of that, and some words that were immediately blocked from the boys mind due to trauma, Naruto decided it would probably be for the best to leave the (e/c) eyed girl alone for now and went back to sharpening his blades, mentally noting to NEVER get on the (h/c) haired girls bad side.
(Y/n) hummed softly to herself as her and Naruto made their way to the designated spot for the survival test, the blond boy beside her slouching tiredly. "(Y/n)-chan, how are you not exhausted?" (Y/n) snickered softly as she wrapped an arm around his neck, tugging him closer with a smirk. "Easy! I got more sleep today than normal!" The blond gives the girl a confused look, opening his mouth to confront her about the morning affair but was cut off by the (h/c)-ette letting go of him and jogging forward towards the other two members of team seven who had arrived at the same time. "Ohayou ducky, Sakura!" The raven haired boy gave a simple nod as greeting while the pinkette yawned tiredly, rubbing her eyes slightly. "Morning Sasuke. I see you showed up Idiots." The (h/c) haired girl slumped sadly to the ground, hand on her forehead as she bowed her head backwards dramatically. "Ouch! My poor heart, shattered by my own teammate! Blegh!" And just like that, she acted like she died on the spot, all of her teammates not even sparing her a second glance as they stared eachother down. The (h/c) haired girl peeked one eye open, realizing that no one was paying her any attention and sat up straight to sit in a criss cross position, pulling an older looking book from her bag as she opened it to a marked page, immediately getting lost in the story. Hours seemingly passed, the sun instead of just rising like it was when they arrived was now high up in the sky, beating down on the four children. Naruto was basically asleep on (y/n)'s shoulder, Sasuke sitting on her other side, peeking at her book in interest while Sakura paced back and forth Infront of the trio, grumbling to herself in anger. "Why isn't he here yet? Oh.. HE BETTER HAVE A GOOD REASON WHY HE'S NOT HERE!" The (h/c) haired girl hummed slightly as she looked up at the pinkette, her face locked in a deadpan. "Even if the excuse is terrible you can't exactly do anything to him. Besides, he's been late twice in a row. I'm sensing a future trend." After speaking (H/C) haired girl turned her attention back to her book. The pinkette let out an angry huff as she stomped over to where Sasuke is seated, plopping down beside him with her knees tucked to her chest, her arms crossed and laying on top of them as she rested her head on them, looking over at (y/n). "Hey so.. what book are you reading anyway? It seems old.." (y/n) hummed slightly, speaking without looking away from the words in the book. "It's a history book on the ninja clans of the village. We have an Uzumaki and a Uchiha on our team so.. I figured I may as well get a good idea of their base skills and abilities. Wanna see?" The pinkette huffed slightly, looking away only to peek back, her gaze on the raven haired boy of the group as she sighed softly, nodding. "I suppose it's better then sitting and waiting for nothing.." the (H/c) haired girl smiles softly as she moved the book onto Sasuke's lap, allowing the pinkette and the raven haired boy to get a better look, the page settled on the History of the Uzumaki clan. After a bit of reading, the Pinkette gasped dramatically, her eyes practically bugging out of her head. "Eh? This book says that the Uzumaki clan usually have red hair.. but Naruto is blond?" (Y/n) chuckled softly as she gently patted the blond's head. "That must mean he's not a full Uzumaki. One of his parents were probably blond or had dominant blond genes." The girl's two conscious teammates looked at her in confusion, Sakura speaking up for both of them. "Genes? What are those?" (Y/n) blinked in confusion, looking up at the duo in surprise. "You don't know what genes are? Uh.. oh! Here, I'll show you." The girl gave the book to the ravenette and gently leaned the blond off of her and over his back before pulling a kunai knife from her pouch and standing, making a square in the dirt Infront of the duo, carving two lines through it that made the single square become four. "Alright. Uh.. let's take the two of you for examples. Now, genes are basically our most outward appearances. So for fun, let's see what a child between the two of you would look like." Sakura make a choking squeal while Sasuke gave me a slight glare. (Y/n) chuckled nervously before going on. "Uh.. well, Sasuke. What color hair does most of your family have?" The ravenette grunted softly as she crossed his arms, speaking calmly. "Black." (Y/n) nodded as she wrote a B in the dirt, glancing to sakura. "Oh! Uh.. We don't really have one. My mom has dark blond hair and my dad has light purple hair." (Y/n) hummed in understanding, moving to the square and adding the answer in before asking more questions, finally filling out the square. "Alright! The verdict is.. you would have a black haired child, courtesy of the Uchiha genes. S-" (y/n) cleared her throat as she pinched herself on the leg, speaking calmly. "THEY would have cobalt eyes, once again thanks to the Uchiha genes. Congrats. You would have a mini Ducky on your hands." Sasuke huffed slightly, crossing his arms as his cheeks flushed faintly. "What about if the two of us had a kid?" The (h/c) haired girl hummed slightly before making another box and filling it out before speaking. "Hm. Well.. Black hair with cobalt eyes looks to be the answer." The ravenette gave a small nod, glancing at the eerily quiet pinkette who was off in her own world, drooling slightly. Sasuke stood up abruptly, moving to stand beside the (h/c) haired girl as he casually handed her the book back, a sudden popping noise drawing everyone's attention to the Blond boy of the group who sat up abruptly, snapping his head around in a post sleep delirium while yelling. "NO! NO MORE SPICY RAMEN- eh?" (Y/n) couldn't hold her laughter back as she imploded into a chuckling mess, leaning on her raven haired friend beside her for support as she lost all the oxygen in her lungs. "Y-You're STILL having nightmares of that ramen?! It wasn't that bad!" The blond became a stuttering mess as he desperately tried to explain his nightmare to the girl, the black haired boy glancing between the two in confusion with an odd sensation in his chest, a deeper frown then usual growing on his face.
After the absolutely hilarious awakening of Naruto, Me and the Original members of team seven all plopped back down, Sakura impatiently tapping her foot and grinding her teeth, Sasuke staring ahead with a conflicted look in his eyes, Naruto drawing in the dirt with his Kunai and me? Well.. I was laying on my back and cloud gazing. Atleast, until we heard footsteps and an ever so familiar. "Morning everyone. Ready for your fist day?" in an instant, Sakura and Naruto went rabid, both jumping up from their spots and infront of poor Kakashi, yelling loudly I'm unison. "HEY!! YOU'RE LATE!!" Kakashi sweat dropped slightly gesturing with his finger. "Well a black cat crossed my path so I had to go the long way." Naruto growled as I snickered softly as I stood up and saluted to Kakashi, my ever present smirk doing it's best. "Ohayou Sensei." The silverette gave me a closed eye smile while speaking. "Well.. let's get started." We all watched as Kakashi pulled his backpack off, pulling a funky looking alarm clock out as he bag and sitting it on a tree stump, patting it slightly. "There. It's set for noon. Your assignment is simple." Kakashi held up three bells to us, pausing for just a moment before speaking. "You're only objective is to take these bells from me. That's all there is to it. If you can't get them by noon then you go without lunch. You'll be tied to those posts and you'll watch as I eat my lunch Infront of you." I chuckled softly at my teammates faces, Naruto holding his stomach as he cries while Sakura shakes slightly, Sasuke glaring harder at Kakashi. "Hold on there's four of us why are there only three bells?!" Sakura suddenly yelled, pointing at Kakashi dramatically. Kakashi smiled again, tilting his head slightly as he answered. "Well that way at least one of you will end up tied to the post and ultimately disqualified for failing to complete the mission. That one goes back to the academy." Kakashi paused dramatically, shifting his weight to his other leg as he continued. "Then again, all four of you could flunk out too. You can use any weapons including shuriken. If you're not prepared to kill me, you won't be able to take the bells." Sakura gasped dramatically, holding her arms to her chest worriedly. "Those weapons are too dangerous Sensei!" Naruto chuckled, his hands behind his head as he added to Sakura's statement. "Especially since you couldn't even dodge that eraser!" Kakashi shrugged slightly putting one hand on his hip. "Class clowns are usually the weakest links. You can safely ignore them. Lowest scores, losers. when I say start you can begin." Naruto growled, pulling out his Kunai and running for Kakashi, Sakura and Sasuke flinching in surprise when Kakashi flips Naruto around, his own kunai pointed at the back of his skull. "Don't be in such a hurry I didn't say start yet." Kakashi hummed as the other took a few steps away, my knowledge of the episode telling me that they are having inner monologues. "But.. you came at me with the full intention of destroying me so, how can I say this? I'm actually starting to like you guys." A tense silence filled the area as Kakashi stared at us, speaking calmly. "Get ready.. and start." In an instant, Sakura, Sasuke and I all jumped away, the blond staying Infront of the silver haired man, just as he did in the episode. Instead of staying to watch, I moved further away to a clear area, a smirk on my face. "While Naruto has him distracted I can bring out the big guns.. honestly, I already feel bad about what I'm about to do to the poor man. Ah well. Rai? Can you watch their chakra signatures? Tell me anytime something changes, alright?" I heard rai giggle, a mental picture of her saluting in my mind. "You got it! I'll do my best!" I smiled, giving a nod as I formed a hand sign. "Good girl. Meme-style.."
