It had officially been a year since you were sent into the world of Naruto. You still weren't exactly certain where in the timeline you were but Obito was still in the village, meaning that mission hadn't happened yet. You let out a soft sigh, thumping your head against the tree you were sitting in, hopeful for some alone time. I love Rin and Obito but.. I can only handle so much extrovert energy. You had become fast friends with Rin, meaning you became friends with Obito and Kakashi by proxy, It was inevitable you and Kakashi would get along anyway, being as quiet as you are.

The second Kushina got back from her mission and heard about your date with Guy she had squealed like a fangirl meeting her idol. It took hours to get her to stop begging for every little detail, and another hour to keep her from beating Obito for 'ruining her babies date'. You weren't exactly certain when Minato and Kushina started considering you their daughter but you weren't going to complain, you had accidentally called them by your mental nickname 'yellow dad' for Minato and 'red mom' for Kushina. You would never forget your biological parents, but in this dangerous new environment of yours you were desperate to cling to any form of familiarity you could get.

I snapped out of my thoughts when I heard a slight, unnatural movement in the branches causing me to glance around unsurely with only my eyes, the glint of a land of clouds headband catching my attention for just a second as I made the necessary hand signs and poked my finger with my kunai, pressing it against the branch I was sitting on. In a poof Nanako arrived a scowl on her face and ready to verbally destroy me as I gave her a nervous smile, gesturing with my eyes. "Good morning Nanako. I know I told you I would summon you sooner but I needed a bit of time to myself this morning. How are you today?" Nanako, about to scold me seemed to take the hint as she scoffed rolling her eyes to look around as casually as possible. "I am just fine. Although, you interuppted my meal. I was having a couple fresh trout from the southern sea." I chuckled softly as I rubbed my neck casually. "Sorry about that. But Minato has a some western salmon for you in preparation for your discussion. You should probably go and get with him. Be sure to hurry back please, you still need to get Kakashi to help me with that new Justu too." Nanako nodded as she streached. "I'll be on my way then. Try not to fall out of the tree and die okay? It would be a shame to lose a master this early." I chuckled shaking my head as I flapped my hands slightly in a go on motion. "No need to worry about me. I'll just be here cloudgazing." With a chuckle, Nanako was gone. I held the kunai that I used to prick my finger tightly as I waited in silence for them to make their move. Why are cloud ninja here in Konoha? I know we're in war but.. Are they after me? Or maybe Minato? Oh God I hope asking Nanako to get Kakashi won't hurt anything. I just know he is the only one Nanako can track next to Minato, with Kushina gone on another mission. I sighed softly as I shifted into a criss cross seating, my hands in my lap with a tight grip on the hidden kunai as I closed my eyes, taking a deep breath. Remember your training (y/n). If you can't use your eyes, use your ears and nose. I exhaled slowly, my position probably looked like I was meditating but I'm honing my senses. What do I smell? Trees. Dirt. Rain.. aha! Salt. Meaning sweat. Gross but helpful. It seems to be in the same position so.. they aren't making their move. What are they waiting for? Maybe they are after Minato? I flinched in surprise when a ninja suddenly jumped at me from the right, me just barley having time to dodge his attack as his katana hit the branch where I was sitting, slicing it off in one fail swoop. I flipped to face forward, jumping off a branch and flipping myself upside down and backwards as I threw my hand signs up. "Meme style- GET STICK BUGGED, LOL" in an instant a swarm of stick bugs fell from the tree's, attaching to the ninja. I skidded to a stop, pulling kunai out of my pouch and went to attack only to Yelp when something wrapped around my body, effectively locking me into place. "Hanzo, are you alright?" A feminine voice said from behind me as the other ninja shoved a stick bug off, landing infront of me. "Yeah I'm fine. Weird fuckin' move though. Good thing we knew what we were in for." The woman scoffed slightly "just hurry up and come on so we can finish this mission." I grunted in pain when Hanzo kneed me hard in the stomach, gagging me with rope before tossing me onto his shoulder and jumping from the tree. I growled softly as I watched the trees zoom past us, my mind spinning for a plan, any plan. My eyes widened when I came up with something. I took a deep breath in, biting down hard on the rope as I forced my arms away from my sides and behind me, the bindings digging into my arms painfully. I bit down hard when I felt my muscles straining against the position, my hands finally meeting as I relaxed slightly. Good. Now I need my mouth free. I worked as quickly as I could, pushing the rope with my tongue or attempting to saw at it with my sharp canine to no avail until finally I managed to get it lodged painfully between my bottom lip and jaw. I took a small breath in before moving my hands in quick succession. "Meme style- LAG!" The cloud ninja holding me yelps in surprise as my body flickers away from him, throwing me back to the last place I was as I fall out of the trees, still bound as my fingers moved deftly. "UHHH MEME STYLE- SAAAAVVEEEE MEEEE" I landed with an unceremonious thump, a pile of goofy puppets catching my fall as I let a little whine of pain out. Definitely broke a few bones there.. "owowowow damnit, meme style- Clone Jutsu!" I heard a poof and saw myself, who just blinked in surprise before immediately crouching down and picking me up bridal style before running.

We bounced from tree to tree until we came to a slight ravine and made our way into a very small cave where she got me untied rather quickly. "Alright me, what's the plan here?" I let out a pained breath as I shook my head. "I've got nothing. Any ideas?" Clone me shook her head, a sigh escaping her. "We totally forgot how dangerous this world is." I nod in agreement, wincing slightly when I readjusted my sitting position. "I guess, maybe try to lead them away? Buy me enough time to get outta sight?" Clone me peeks outside. "Alright. I'll do my best." We share a nod as she takes off in a flash. I take a deep breath as I push myself to stand, hissing in pain as I fall back down. "Fuck.. that hurts.." I take a deep breath, releasing it slowly as I allowed myself to slump against the wall. "Maybe I should take a minute to see how bad it is.." I slowly push myself to rest against the wall, peeling my shirt up a little past the end of my ribcage I cringe slightly at the the fresh pinkish purple watermelon sized bruise that stretched longways down my torso, starting in the center of my chest and going about two inches below my belly button. Other then the bruise, I also had various small cuts around but they were all small and hardly noticable. It's not that bad. Good. My eyes snapped to the entryway of the little cave when I heard the almost silent shift of dirt, a pair of legs stopping infront of the tiny crawl space, the woman's voice echoing in the tiny space. "Found you~ you know, we weren't told specifically to capture you alive. How about we push the boundary, hm? Earth Release- Ground shaking technique!" I yelped slightly when everything around me started to tremble, small rocks falling from the ceiling as I felt the rock I was leaning on shift. I'm gunna die if I don't get out! What do I do?! I need.. I need more time! "Meme style- let's do the time warp again!" I shrieked in fear, a (f/c) ocarina appearing from seemingly no where as I immediately blew into it, the cave collapsing the second I played the instrument, I wasn't quite quick enough to save my right foot and ankle before a large rock fell on top of it. Suddenly though, I was met with an all too familiar scene. White fluffy things swimming in an endless blue, my leg throbbing In a pain I had never felt before as I once again plummeted towards the ground. It was all happening much to fast. My mind spun and I heard a boy yell in surprise before I blacked out. The last sensation I felt being grabbed out of mid air.

(This one was kinda awful. Sorry! I'm starting to think the universe has a thing for dropping poor (y/n) from the sky.. Anyway, next update will be September 30th 2020. See ya then!)
