"Soo.. lovely weather were having huh?" I hummed, casually leaning against the table while sipping from a can of soda with shaking hands as I watched the brunette Infront of me, a bead of sweat dropping down my forehead. The woman's eyes we're wide And her jaw was hanging open in shock. The woman, Rin simply stutters incoherently just as she had for the last twenty minutes. The big lunch I had prepared had long since been eaten and cleared away before I told the woman what had happened in her absence. "S-so.." Rin started, shakily brushing her bangs from her face. "Minato and Kushina are.. Why.. Why me and not them?" Rin finishes, her voice fading slightly at the end as she locks eyes with me, her eyebrows scrunches slightly in confusion with a look of despair in her eyes. I sighed softly as I balanced my head in my hand, my elbow on the table while the other hand gently traces circles into the wood. "Well.. if I'm honest it's because I couldn't. Both of them will come back in their own way in due time. You're the only one who doesn't and.. it wasn't fair.. how you went out.." Rin chuckles sadly, standing up slowly as she walks to the window and gazes out. "So.. if you could have brought them back, would you?" I frowned slightly, rubbing my neck. "Well.. yeah. They were the first here to care about me Rin.." the brunette sighs softly before turning to look at me, a sad smile on her face. "Either way. Now we can bring Obito back, right?" I choked on my drink, pounding my hand on my chest as I diverted my gaze. "Uh.. About that.. I can't. He uh.. he never died." I felt the temperature in the room drop as I nervously looked up to Rin, her hair floating around her menacingly as she made a fist. "He.. what?" I gulped hard, nodding slightly. "Yeah. He uh.. he was fixed up by Madara Uchiha and a weird goop guy who I guess is kinda my brother now? Uh, either way. He's still alive and is convinced Kakashi killed you on purpose so he's gunna put a sharingan on the moon and hypnotize everyone." I looked at Rin who looked completely lost and I chuckled awkwardly, rubbing the back of my neck. "Yaknow what? Here, I'll just show you." I pushed myself off of the table, snatching her smooth dry hand in my clammy grasp before hauling her into the living room where I sat her down on the couch and opened the disk player, trading My Hero Academia for Naruto and pushing play. "Alright. Just watch this, it's the whole series so you'll be able to know as much as me. I gotta get back, Team seven has a mission tomorrow and I need to be bright eyed for when the cow simp arrives." Rin looks at me in confusion, raising an eyebrow. "What? Cow sim- What does a flat circle have anything to do with what happened to Obito?" I smiled sadly, speaking softly. "Did you ever wonder why the cloud ninja came after some random leaf girl that wasn't even a Genin?" Rin nodded, blinking slightly as I gestured towards the screen, Rin gasping in surprise when the narration began, showing Kurama attacking the leaf. I shuttered out a sigh as I gently patted her shoulder, speaking softly. "I know the past, the present and the future. Keep watching if you want to know too." And just like that, I pulled a picture from my pocket, the tv thoroughly distracting Rin as I quickly whispered the jutsu and hopped in, popping back out in my bathroom.
