"Hey, Madara?" The boy rose his eyebrow, glancing at me from the corner of his eyes while he casually swung his katana towards the hand made training dummy. "Yes (y/n)?" I bit my lip slightly as I twirled a loose strands of hair in my pointer finger, my back pressed into a fairly large tree that gave me a good view of Madara and the straw figures battle. "Well, I was just wondering.. I've only seen male ninja. What about the women? Do you guys not allow that in this country?" Madara seemed to hault in place, chuckling as he puts his sword back into it's scabbard and turning to me, a curious look on his face. "You mean it's common where you come from for women to battle?" I nodded, tilting my head slightly. "Well yeah. Women are just like men yaknow. We all wanna protect our home and loved ones." Madara's eyes seem to glimmer slightly as a smirk grows on his face. "Is that so? Does that include you?" I chuckled softly as I rubbed the back of my neck, a soft smile on my face. "Well yeah. Of course." Madara smiled wider as he gestured me over, handing me a kunai the second I was close. "Show me what you've got." He nodded to a target placed in one of the upper branches of the tree I was under, a handful of blade marks scarring the painted wood. I shrugged slightly as I took the kunai, placing the blade carefully between my pointer fingers knuckle and thumb as I flicked my wrist slightly, the knife gliding away from my hand and with an audible thunk the blade had nestled comfortably in the center of the target, a smirk growing on my face when I noticed Madara's slightly impressed look. The boy nodded slightly before turning to look at me. "So, what else can you do?" I smiled proudly as popped my knuckles. "More then anyone could ever guess."

And thus, Madara had accidentally taken me under his wing, unconsciously helping me regain my muscles and improving my previously learned skills and even teaching me a few new tricks.

I panted slightly, my back on the ground with Madara above me, his breaths were shorter then normal but he was no where near as exhausted as I was. "Madz, I don't know how much more I can take." Madara chuckles lowly as he leans in, stealing a quick kiss. "Just a bit more love, I promise." I pouted slightly, nodding anyway as Madara stood up, helping me up aswell. "Now, let's try again alright? No holding back." I nodded, taking a deep breath before holding the wooden katana in a ready position, Madara walking around me slowly as he scans my posture, coming to a stop infront of me. "Very good love. You finally got the stance correct. Ready to try again?" I gave him an affermative nod as he readied his own wooden sword, poised directly infront of me. "You may attack first." I took a deep breath, lowering my stance slightly before bursting forward, attacking him head on as our swords smacked together, my body twisting so Madara's sword slipped from mine and he lost balance, stumbling just long enough that I could get a hit in. Sadly he was expecting that kind of move, sliding his foot back enough to sidestep my attack before attempting a strike my back. I managed to just barley escape, rolling across the dirt before getting back onto my feet and jumping towards him again, going for a sweeping hit on his chest. Madara placed one hand on the end of his wooden sword to block holding my wooden blade back, a smile on his face. "You're improving quickly love. I've only been training you for a few months." I giggled softly as I smiled brightly at him. "I'll be honest, I've been singing a song from my childhood to keep me motivated." Madara raised an eyebrow as he gave me a nod. "Let's take a break for a moment. Now then, you said a song? That's an odd choice to think about during combat." I released my stiff form, Madara doing the same as I plopped onto the ground, sweat rolling off my forehead as I chuckled sheepishly. "Well, it is about sword fighting. It just kinda feels right yaknow?" Madara chuckles as he sits beside me, a soft rare smile on his face. "Is that so? Perhaps you should sing it for me. Just so that I understand it better." I chuckled softly at Madara's expectant look, rubbing the back of my neck. "Are you sure? It's been awhile since I last sang. It might be bad." Madara rolls his eyes, leaning back onto his hands. "Oh please. I have yet to find a single thing that you don't excel in. I smiled bashfully as I stood up, a soft blush on my face. "W-well alright. But don't say I didn't warn you." Madara looks at me encouragingly as I took a stance with my wooden sword a sad smile on my face. "Sadly I don't have a second, usually it's sung by two people but I'll try." I inhaled deeply before exhaling slowly singing softly.
