Step one to break the friendzone : Don't be friendly at all
Y/N's POV
"Ughhhhh Kuina you don't know, this is like hell" I banged my head on my art book and the girl beside me just laughed pressing her hand on her mouth.
"Don't laugh like that, I know I am pathetic" I pouted at her and she laughed even more.
"Sorry Y/N, but what you did at the first day of Art Class was really funny. You don't know about basic shading and you confidently picked it up as additional" she had a point, I shouldn't have picked up Art when all I can do is draw anime.
"I thought it won't be that difficult and also the course I want to pick up after graduation also requires art. I wanted to take up that course for a long time and for one subject I couldn't go back" I said and she patted my back.
"Awww, don't worry. Art just needs practice, don't worry" she confronted me but I knew it was not that easy.
"Why do you think the professor called me today after the break?" I asked and she nibbled her lips.
"Maybe some advice or techniques he will tell you?" she shrugged and I nodded.
"Ayo ladies! What's going on?!" Jake bumped on us all of a sudden from the back and wrapped his hands around our shoulders.
"Y/N is a bit worried, the art teacher called her after break" Kuina said and Jake looked.
"Hey don't worry, everything's chill okay?" He smiled and I nod.
"Yes, I hope so"
"May I come in Sir?" The class was partially empty other than two students who were on detention.
Sir looked at me with raised brows and smiled, "Oh Y/N, come in" he said and walked towards his desk. "About your subject, you already know you lack and are running behind" he stated and I nodded.
"Yes sir"
"But there is nothing to worry about, I know Art needs talent but it's not really the case. Art requires practice more than talent, if you get someone to direct you or show you a few steps you can practice and get well in the subject" he said and I nodded, but who will show me the techniques.
