The weeks flew by and the sports festival began.
I am volunteering with Sora, Dami and a bunch of other girls. It will be fun but there are responsibilities as well and I am excited to execute them.
The schedules as told by Dami are a bit different this year. Soccer and Baseball matches are held specially at the end days of the festival, but this year they thought of starting the ceremony with the soccer match followed by baseball.
Jungkook, Jimin and Seokjin are participating in this and Jungkook was the leading player of the soccer team as well. So he has to take up huge responsibility for whole six days.
I slapped off my alarm which was set to five in the morning. I had a lot of work to do. I didn't waste a single moment to rush into the washroom and brush my teeth and get a good shower.
I came out, and changed into our University's jersey and denims and dried my hair with the dryer before putting it into a pony tail. The cap and ID card for volunteering was a must which I wore around my neck and left my dorm.
The day was going to be hectic, I knew. I have to now report to our University's sports ground where we along with the player will be taken to the stadium by a bus. The game starts at eight.
Total eight groups, four matches on the first day each of one hour and forty five minutes, with forty five minutes span division and a fifteen minute break in the middle. After the four matches the four selected winner team will be against each other the next day. There will be two matches the next day each of three hours and fifteen minutes, with one and a half hour of each span and a fifteen minutes span break. And on the third day there will be two matches as well, one for the winner and first runner up and the other for the second runner up with the same time span as the second day.
I reached the sports field, the guys were already there doing their quick warm up and team planning. Looking around I saw Dami busy at her phone, she waved her hand as soon as she saw me and I walked over her.
She was in charge of the volunteering distribution. "Y/N, you and Sora are in charge of the boys for the soccer match. I mean you two will stay back with the boys in the waiting section and help them with stuff. Especially giving them supplies and checking their meals and report their health if they are not feeling well. I am counting on you" she patted my shoulders and I somehow felt responsible.
Sora appeared on the scene after a few moments and the teachers alarmed us the time and we boarded the bus. Three buses in total, all owned by the University faculty. One for the teachers, the other for the players, the third for the volunteers. No cheer squad for soccer, only baseball. The other students who are willing to watch the match were given free passes to enter the stadium and outsiders had to buy tickets.
