Chapter 8- Devil's Cafe

Mason's POV

It's been a few days since the lunch incident.I avoided going to school but that didn't last very long because I was paid a visit by 'mom'. She appeared in my dream and lectured me. I am a grown man....well I was a grown man. Now I'm a teenager I have to admit it I have quickly gotten use to it, best part is I no longer feel the pressure of being beta.

When I was Beta, I had lots of responsibility and working out to do to keep fit for my medium but very fierce wolf. I miss my wolf. Now I'm just stuck with a whole ass pervert

Ye I'll go back next week. It's already Thursday, might as well wait until it's Monday.

A note appeared on the table in front of me. That's how she send messages now.

Go get a job because I'm cutting you off in 2 weeks expect for rent. I'll pay your rent. You are still young.

I rolled my eyes.

I don't even have a resume I can't just-

A resume suddenly appeared in front of me with the information filled out.

The Note glowed so I looked down at it.

I already know where you would get a job. I left a outfit along with your uniform the first day you woke up here.

Oh yea...

It's a cafe. Not too far from your Pack house.

Why so close to there?

1 hour later

I have kind of just been standing in-front of the cafe not moving an inch. I don't know if I want a job, I kind of hope I can be lazy for the rest of my life. When your mom is the moon goddess you would think you would own a mansion with absolutely nothing to do, but I have a small apartment and now I have to get a job. Sigh.

On the bright side, the cafe was adorable. The outside is painted a pretty light pink with pink rose flowers decorated along both sides of the door. The interior was even more stunning and everything on display looked so delicious.

I walked up to the counter where a boy with brownish hair with blonde roots and hazels eyes greeted me. He was very attractive. I have been kind of wondering if calling boys my age attractive make me a pedophile. I used to be 38 after all. Being young again changed my taste. I guess I couldn't go dating 40 year men while I'm 17 now.

"Welcome to the Devil's Cafe. How can I help you today?" He sounds kind of hot.

"The Devil's Cafe? I didn't know the devil likes pink" I joked.

"Me neither but here we are"

"Right....I'm here to submit a resume for a job here"

"You want to work here?"

"I believe that is what I said"

"Why?" He asked tilting his head slightly. Reminds of a puppy. Cute.

"What do you mean why. Are you not hiring"

"No I just don't think someone as pretty as yourself should ever have to work a day in their life" He smirked,winking at me.

I turned red from embarrassment, not knowing what to say.

"See that little basket by the side" He said, pointing at the pink basket that sat on top of table that was also, beginning to see a theme here, at a corner near the front counter. "Just drop it there, we will give you a call and let you know if you got the job" I walked towards the basket, noticing how filled up it was with application of  people who wanted to work here.

"Famous Cafe?"

"Kind of. A lot of girls usually wants to come work here as soon as there's a spot opened"

"Why?"

"It's the Alpha favourite cafe. He comes here very often with his beta" I paled.

Maybe working here isn't such a good idea. No wonder it's called the Devil's Cafe. The person who comes here is the Devil himself...
