I don't know where y'all be popping out from but every time you come out, I feel guilty and I tell myself that I have to write one more chapter for those still holding on. I'm sorry you guys I have a hard time committing to things I start but here we go again. ALSO IM IN THE TOP TWO for the mxmxm tag like what?. I made it you guys. Mason's POV

Unfortunately, the drive to the main pac house was not as fun as the one we took to the restaurant. We are now sitting in Cole's monstrosity of a room, my whole apartment could fit in here. Is this where all the pack savings go. I don't remember the pack house being this big but 17 years is a long time. Modern people and their modern way of of living I suppose.

I was sat on the floor- it seemed right that way when I had first entered the room but now with the two of them sitting on the couch straight out of a royal painting- it felt like they hovering over me and I quite frankly resembled a child being disciplined. This was not what I had agreed to. Callum should be down here. No one has said anything since we arrived but I could feel a question lingering in the air.

"This is not how you treat a guest" It was attempt to lighten the mood. I was trying my best but I should have tried harder.

"Do you take me as a fool" Callum had spoken up first. "Flink?" . In my defence, I have forgotten about the horrible name for a pack. I couldn't blame him sometimes I find it hard to believe that I have beta genes but I am in too deep to go back now.

"Yes Flink. Is it not impressive enough for you" I looked in between the two from my position on the ground. I truly need to get up but it would be even more embarrassing to attempt that.

"Let's go" Cole with the bright ideas.

"Go where" my best shot of getting out of this is to play stupid.

"To flink?" Cole continued. I blinked once then twice.

"We can't"

"And why is that?"

"It got attacked by humans" I was technically not lying. My old pack was attacked by human, the difference was it survived but I couldn't say that. "It didn't survive.."

They faces fell and I feel bad but it is for their own good. They are only just children and I do not think they would believe me to begin with, I mean werewolves made sense but reincarnation? That's just a bunch of baloney. Right?

"I am sorry. I shouldn't have doubt you" the word that is coming out of Callum's mouth does not match the expression he gave me. I could tell he still doubted me but I would rather he remained that way than investigate "Flink". How ridiculous.

"You should come to my birthday party next week"

"Really? What are you turning?" I realized I never asked for his age or his mate before I groped him in the back of the car. Am I a pedophile?. I do not understand the rules of being reborn. We wouldn't want a "you marked my daughter?!" situation on our hands. (Please get the reference 😭).

"He gets to find his mate" Cole finished my thoughts. Creepy much. He didn't seem too happy about it. I suppose as his beta, they had been inseparable since they were children and knew everything about one another so he didn't want to lose his best friend- what am I saying. They are definitely having sex each other.

"Yes." Okay?, try not to sound too excited.

I am also a bit sad about it?. It's strange my heart aches a little.
