Chapter 2- A new beginning

Mason's POV

I woke up light-headed and scanned my surroundings. Everywhere was filled with grass that smelled like vanilla, I love vanilla, and when I looked up I was met with a clear blue sky. It looked like something from a painting and to top it all of was the air. I don't how to describe it but it was perfect. I love it here. Is this heaven?. I was so consumed by everything around me,from afar it looked like there was nothing for miles, it was all so perfect until I heard someone walking up behind me and quickly got in a defensive pose ready to strike. I had no idea where I was and although I loved it,I wasn't taking any chances.

It was a woman, but no ordinary woman. She was at least 10 foot tall and she has greyish white hair that reflects the color of the moon. She wore a long white dress and had pale skin. She was stunning. She looked over and smiled at me. Her smile took my breath away I remembered thinking she would make a beautiful mate to another man that's probably 13 foot tall.

"what makes you think I can't be a perfect mate for a girl that's 7.5 foot tall instead" she looked down at me as she spoke. "Instead of assuming I'm straight why not assume I'm gay"

While trying to ignore the fact that this was that most random and weird conversation to be having right now, My mind was at a million places at once trying to pinpoint a location of where i might be right now. I also had to figure out how she knew WHAT I THINKING

"Where am I?" I wasted no time and got straight to the point there was a battle that needed my help and I couldn't just stand here and do nothing. She looked at me and didnt respond so I decided to use my Beta voice on her.

"Where am I? " I growled at her.

"That's cute" she looked at me and smirked."do you know why you are here or who I am"

"uhm.....no?" it's funny she already expected to know her. I just met her, what a weird tall lady. "that's why i fucking asked you. What kind of dumbass question is that"

"Did you just call the moon goddess, weird and a dumbass?"

"righttttt like I'm meant to believe you, a goofy weird tall ass woman, is the mother of all ware wolves " I replied in annoyance. She raised an eyebrow at me in a cocky manner and then it hit me.

I quickly bowed down and cursed myself for being so stupid.

" I'm sorry for being disrespectful" I said with my head still bowed.

" Apology not accepted. I should just kill you" she spoke so informally.

"but you already did when you gave me such an evil human being that I only got to love for a few as a mate". It was then I realized that I was pissed and oh did i have a bone to pick with her. "WHY?!. TELL ME WHY?!"

"So this moment could happen". She replied and I looked up at her confused. "I had to cause you pain for the greater task I had planned for you"

"what task?"

"I'm taking you to a different time entirely". She smiled at me brightly.

"what do you mean by that" I questioned.

"I'm taking you to the future. You are going to have a new body, age, wolf and a new mate"

It was only then I realized I haven't heard anything from my wolf

"Your wolf died when your mate died, Mason moreover you deserve a new beginning"

"I don't want a new beginning, what I want is to go down there and help my alpha fight his battle"
