First three hours of waiting went well but after that Louis started walking back and forth, nervously biting his finger nails.

He had no idea whether his mother had delivered his message to Zayn. Louis knew that once Zayn hears about code red, no matter how angry he is, he would always help because there was no kidding with code red.

He wanted to ran back outside and borrow someone's phone but he really didn't want to ran into Eleanor again because that woman seriously disliked him and well, that feeling was mutual.

Sure, Louis could stop someone random and borrow their phone but he had a strong feeling that they too would dislike him— people tend to do that around him nowadays, apparently.

But Louis didn't know when his hero would come, and who that hero would even be. It would take million hours for Zayn to drive to London.

"Maybe I should get a hobby", Louis wondered out loud. "Like painting. Collecting postage stamps. Writing? O-kaay maybe not."

And when Louis realised he was talking to himself, he groaned. He wasn't even talking anything smart. No, he was talking about painting which... no, just no. Louis was absolutely pathetic when it came to drawing, much less painting.

It seemed like Louis had no other choice than just wait and see what happens and whether he gets help or not before it's too late.

"Walk", Louis muttered. "I need to walk. I need air."

He was really hungry and he knew he should sit down and rest but he couldn't, he needed to move. So, ignoring his stomach, Louis took his jacket and keys and went out of the building, heading towards the park.

Louis looked around him, noticing for the first time just how beautiful everything was. The trees were so green and everything looked really nice in sunlight.

All the things around him looked so peaceful and beautiful.

"Why can't my mind be peaceful?" Louis grumbled, and sat down on the bench. He glared at the people walking past. Some glared back, some ignored him and some tried to smile at him but Louis never smiled back.

Suddenly his eyes focused on two men walking hand in hand. Louis narrowed his eyes and then gasped. It was Dan.

Oh, Louis remembered Dan. Dan who had bought him food, who had talked to him and listened to him (in the broadest sense) and who had been fighting with his boyfriend.

Dan who Louis had advised to go fix things with his boyfriend. Dan who was now walking hand in hand with his assumed boyfriend, smiling happily.

Louis kind of wanted to yell at Dan and wave his hand but then again, he kind of wanted to just jump behind some tree and hope no one would see him but unfortunately Louis was unable to move, so when Dan's eyes finally reached Louis, it was too late already so Louis just stared at Dan.

Finally Dan stared smiling, nodded at Louis and mouthed, "Thank you."

Louis eyes widened slightly. Dan was thanking him. Louis shook his head a little and smiled back at Dan who grinned once and then turned his attention back to his boyfriend.

For a moment Louis just sat there, thinking about what the hell just happened, and then he realised that he was still smiling. He tried to stop it but it didn't work. People walked past him and some smiled back at Louis.

And Louis kept smiling.

"Oh, for God's sake", Louis chuckled and started walking back to his flat, smiling even wider and grinning everyone that walked past him.

Who would've known that helping someone fix their relationship could be so... satisfying? And even more, who would've known that Louis would ever help someone to fix their relationship?

"Deffo first time for everything", Louis muttered, and then started humming, "I used to rule the world, seas would rise when I gave the word. Now in the morning I sleep alone, sweep the streets I used to own..."

Louis stopped singing, thinking about the night when they had been sitting by the bonfire and everything that had happened after that.

"Never an honest word but that was when I ruled the world", Louis hummed half-heartedly.

Although he was alone, he was hungry and what else, he still felt a tiny bit happy. He had helped Dan. He had actually done something good. Considering how much harm Louis had caused in a past few weeks, that little thing he did for Dan made him feel a whole lot better.

Maybe he could fix things with Harry too. But the problem was that he didn't want to date Harry. But he didn't want to lose Harry either. But he didn't know if he would be able to be just friends, knowing he can never touch or kiss Harry again.

Because... well, Louis really wanted to just touch and kiss Harry again. But he really didn't want to be in a relationship. That word made him feel somewhat nauseous.

Louis really shouldn't think about Harry.

His heart started beating faster and he started sweating. He needed someone to distract him. He couldn't be alone anymore. Louis regretted leaving Zayn and Liam's wedding. It had been a really stupid decision. Not just because he had hurt Harry even more by leaving him stand alone there but because he was now forced to be alone and he didn't have food or really, anything, and he was falling down so hard.

Louis opened the building's door, walked into the elevator and pressed his floor's button. He leaned his back against the elevator's wall and closed his eyes.

"Please, Zayn, hurry up."
