On a Sunday morning, around nine a.m., Harry and Liam were sitting on front porches, enjoying the warm sunshine.
"I'm so happy for you", Harry said suddenly, and turned his eyes on Liam. "I can't believe you're finally getting married."
"I can't believe it either", said Liam, laughing. "I just wish it would be Tuesday already. I miss Zayn."
Harry smiled. "You're hopeless."
"No, I'm in love", Liam pointed out, and sighed. "I wonder what they're doing?"
"Call and ask?" Harry suggested, and then caught on what Liam had said. "Hold on, they?"
Liam nodded. "Yeah, he's with Louis. He send me a text saying how Louis annoys him. Something about playing Benji Bananas with sounds on or something. Frankly I'm just surprised that he even is up at this time."
"Louis Tomlinson...", Harry muttered, and then realised. "Right, of course! Zayn's best friend. Five years and I still haven't met him, not surprising that I momentarily forgot him."
Liam laughed. "Rule number one, don't ever say that when he's around."
"Why?"
"He can be... difficult to deal with."
Harry laughed. "Oh, please, Liam! You forget who you're talking to."
"Right, you're the social butterfly", said Liam, chuckling.
"That I am", Harry stated proudly and leaned his back against the wall, closing his eyes.
Liam checked his clock and groaned. "Time goes so slowly."
"Stop whining and enjoy this beautiful weather."
"Can't, I might freak out soon", said Liam, and Harry opened his eyes, scanning Liam's face. "Stop that, Hazza."
Now when Harry really looked at Liam, he noticed how anguished he looked. Harry figured it was partly because of the wedding, and partly because Liam was really missing Zayn.
"You need distraction", Harry said, and jumped up. "Come on, Liam."
"I don't want to, I feel lazy", Liam sighed, and stared at Harry suspiciously. "What are you even up to?"
"We are going to fishing!" Harry cheered.
"Please no."
"Stop whining and go get our fishing stuff", Harry ordered. "I will start the car. We are taking yours, by the way."
Harry held out his hand, and groaning Liam took it. Harry pulled him up, and then Liam handed Harry his car keys. Harry smiled brightly and quickly walked over to Liam's Range Rover and got in. He started the car and saw Liam carrying their fishing stuff. Harry smiled widely when his best friend threw the stuff in the trunk and got in too.
"Ready?" Harry asked.
"If I say no, can I stay?"
Harry grinned. "Nope."
Liam rolled his eyes, but didn't argue. Harry started driving and after fifteen minutes he pulled into a parking lot, and turned off the car.
"We are here!" he cheered. "Come on, Liam, smile!"
Liam furrowed his eyebrows. "Is this supposed to make me feel better?"
"Hey, I'm trying!" Harry said, and jumped out of the car. "But you're not making this easy."
"Sorry."
Liam didn't really mean it.
They took their stuff and walked to the end of the pier. Harry lay down on his back, eyes closed, while Liam grumpily stared at the sea. Neither one of them didn't start fishing, even though they had dragged all the stuff with them.
