As grateful as Louis was about that food Dan had bought to him, it didn't keep his hunger away long, so after five days Louis was fairly sure he was going to die.
He had no food. No tea. No money. No alcohol. No phone. Nothing. He had absolutely nothing. He was ready to give up. Louis knew he was losing it, it had happened before, so as a desperate guy he is, he ran out of his flat, didn't bother to wait elevator, and ran all the stair down and out of the building's door.
He glanced around and stopped the first person he saw, who just happened to be some young brown-haired girl. What the heck is a girl like that doing out at 9 a.m.?
"Hi, excuse me, sorry to bother you-"
The girl glared at him. "What do you want?"
Louis wrinkled his nose to the girl's rudeness but then he realised that whoa, he would've said the same thing if he was her, so.
"Could you borrow your phone? I need to make a call and my phone is dead", Louis explained, trying to look as harmless as possible.
The girl hesitated for a moment but pulled her phone out anyway, handing it to Louis. "Just make it quick."
"Thank you", Louis said and took the phone. He dialed his mother's number since it was the only one he remembered by heart.
"Hello?"
"Mum! Ah, thank God you answered! It's me, Louis. Look, I need help, you need-"
"Oh, Louis, darling! How are you, sweetheart? How was the wedding? We are still on our holiday trip but we will come to see Liam and Zayn when we get back. Oh, and you too, obviously."
Oh, shit. Louis had completely forgot that his mum and his little sisters were on a holiday trip, which meant his mother wouldn't be able to come to Louis flat and possibly feed him, pet him and so on.
Louis didn't know what to do, he couldn't be alone any longer, he was starving and he needed company. The girl raised her eyebrow at Louis and Louis knew she wanted her phone back. He quickly decided to go with the plan B.
"The wedding was fine but mum, you need to listen to me-"
"What number are you calling?" his mother interrupted him again. "This isn't your number."
No shit, Sherlock! Louis' mind yelled, but he bit his lip and looked at the girl. "What's your name?"
"Eleanor."
Louis nodded. "Right, okay, mum, I'm calling from Eleanor's phone. Now, please just listen me, you need to call-"
"Who's Eleanor? Is she-"
"MOTHER!" Louis yelled. "Can you fucking shut up for a second and listen to me? I need you to call Zayn and tell him that I'm having a code red. Did you understand? Tell Zayn that Louis is having a code red. He will understand what that means. CALL HIM RIGHT NOW, THANKS!"
Then Louis ended the call before his mother could say anything and handed the phone back to Eleanor.
"Thanks", he said dryly.
"You were rude to your mom", she chided, taking her phone.
"Good that it's not your concern", Louis snapped, and ignored the hurt look on the girl's face. "Thanks for borrowing your phone."
Then Louis turned around, walked inside and took the elevator to the third floor.

When Zayn's phone started ringing, he was in a shower. Harry and Liam stopped their chatting and yelled in unison, "Z, your phone is ringing!"
"Who's calling?" Zayn yelled from the bathroom.
