Friday morning was not beautiful. It rained all morning and the wind almost made tents to fall and fly around the garden. So, naturally, nobody wanted to go out.
Harry, Niall and Ed were in the living room, watching a television when Liam, Zayn and Louis walked in.
"Good morning, lads", said Liam.
"Morning", Niall and Ed answered.
Louis and Harry stared at each other and suddenly Louis stopped walking. "Um... I need to- I forgot to-"
He started to back away, but Zayn grabbed his arm, and pulled him towards the others.
"Shut up, Louis", said Zayn and yanked Louis down on the floor.
It was Harry's turn to try to escape. "I should-"
"Don't try, Harry. You're not leaving", said Liam, pointing at him.
Louis and Harry both slumped down, and stared at their hands. Liam glared at them, his eyes narrowed, and arms crossed.
"Whatever happened between the two of you, can't you just kiss and make up already? Our wedding's tomorrow."
"Apparently no", Louis and Harry muttered in unison, avoiding everyone's eyes.
Zayn groaned. "Just once, can you two behave like grown ups?"
Louis and Harry blushed slightly but kept their mouths firmly shut. Louis prayed that someone would jump in and chance the subject and thank God, there was this certain Irish lad.
"So—", said Niall, clearing his throat, "—correct me if I'm wrong but it is Friday, right?"
Zayn raised an eyebrow questioningly. "Yes, your point?"
"And the wedding's tomorrow, right?" Niall continued suggestively.
"Obvious. What's your point, Niall?" sighed Liam.
Niall groaned, disappointed. "Don't you get it?" he glanced around, spreading his arms. "Anyone? No? Ah, shit, love, help me out a bit."
"Bachelor Party", said Ed grinning.
Collective "oooh riiight" echoed around the living room when the others realised what Niall had been pursued. Literally none of them had remembered the whole bachelor party thing. But now when Niall had brought the topic up, it couldn't be forgotten.
"Oi, shit", said Zayn.
"How's it even possible to forget your own bachelor party?" said Liam.
Niall glared at both of them. "Seriously? Neither one of you remembered your own goddamn bachelor party? The hell is wrong with you guys?"
"There have been a few other things to think about", Harry pointed out.
"It was your responsibility", said Niall, turning to glare at Harry and Louis. "So, what are we gonna do? Have you two planned anything?"
Louis and Harry frowned. "Huh?"
Niall rolled his eyes. "You, Louis, are Zayn's best man. You, Harry, are Liam's. Don't you think that you ought to have plan something?"
"Aw, shit", Louis and Harry muttered at the same time, blushing very hard.
Liam, Zayn and Ed chuckled but Niall was dead serious.
"Stop laughing!" Niall exclaimed. "This is serious. What are we going to do now? Split up into two teams and draw straws from whichever side gets the best gay bars?"
The guys laughed even harder and Niall narrowed his eyes.
"It's not that serious, Ni", said Liam, chuckling.
