Louis groaned. "Zayn, mate, stop. You're annoying me. Sit down, please."
He and Zayn both lived in London, and currently they were chilling in Zayn's flat. They used to be roommates but not anymore since Liam, Zayn's soon-to-be husband, would move into Zayn's flat after their wedding, so Louis needed to get out of the way. And also because Zayn couldn't handle living with Louis since Louis could be quite impossible roommate.
"I can't", said Zayn, impatiently. "I'm gettin' married next weekend!"
As if Louis didn't know that already — Zayn's wedding had been the top topic for months now. Zayn had dated Liam Payne for five years. Five years, and then they decided to get engaged. Since Zayn asked Liam to marry him - which was exactly five months ago - all Zayn had talked about was his engagement with Liam. Louis couldn't help but think what was Zayn and Liam's thing with number five.
"Trust me, I'm well aware about that", Louis groaned, and frowned. "And just so you know, it's not too late, you could still run away."
Of course Louis didn't really mean that... Okay, maybe a bit but just because he didn't believe marriage was a good idea. Don't get Louis wrong, he admired Zayn and Liam's relationship—they were perfect for each other—but Louis just didn't exactly believe in marriage. It was just a piece of paper for him. Nothing important.
Zayn rolled his eyes and sat next to Louis.
"'Am not runnin' away. I love him", Zayn said matter-of-factly. "That reminds me..." He took his wallet out of his pocket and took a picture from there, giving it to Louis, smiling.
Louis raised an eyebrow questioningly. "What's this?"
"It's a new picture of me and Liam", said Zayn fondly. "I know you've seen far too many of those already, but this one's so—"
"Yeah, yeah, cute, I know", Louis interrupted, rolling his blue eyes. "Jeez, dude."
Louis took a good look at the picture. It really was cute. Zayn was pointing at the camera and Liam was leaning in Zayn's direction, making their heads touch slightly. It was, however, a different kind of photo. Usually they took selfies and then sent them to everyone. Literally, Louis had almost one hundred selfies in his phone. But the picture that Louis was holding was not a selfie. Somebody had took the photo for them.
"Harry took it", said Zayn. "Harry Styles. Liam's best friend, remember?"
"Are you reading my mind?" Louis asked, and shrugged. "Harry... Hm, yes, I suppose Liam has talked about him a bit."
"A lot, actually", said Zayn, and took the photo back. "You just never listen."
"Hey!" Louis protested. "I do listen. Sometimes."
"Uh-huh."
Louis snorted. "Well excuse you, but you two babble nonsense so much that I get bored."
"We don't babble!"
"Yes, you do", Louis assured, and fell on his back on the bed. "Besides, I don't need to know who Harry Styles is. He's irrelevant."
Louis didn't know who Harry was so no, he didn't hate him. He just... didn't need him in his life. Louis can be pretty picky when it comes to making new friends. He really had only two close friends, Zayn and Liam. Others were just... well, irrelevant.
"I'd like to remind you, Louis, 'bout the fact that we'll be hangin' out with Harry a lot after the wedding", said Zayn, rolling on to his stomach. "He'll live with me and Liam 'til he finds his own flat, remember? So please, try to behave yourself."
