When she got inside she was about to head straight to her room when she got stopped by something;or should I say someone.
"Where were you?" Billy asked his step-sister.
"I told you I Was hanging out with a friend." Kate said, trying to walk around him only for him to grab her arm and pull her into his room.
"It looked like you guys were more than friends from what I saw." Billy said, not caring about giving away his secret. You see he might not like his step-sisters but he would always try and protect them even though he won't admit it.
"YOU WERE SPYING ON ME!" Kate exclaimed, annoyed that invaded her privacy.
"Yeah, and I don't give a shit. You need to stay away from that Sinclair kid Lyn. Got it!" Billy yelled not caring if he woke up the whole house.
"Yes." Kate said in a dull tone. She walked out of Billy's room and into her own. When she got into her bed she laid there and cried. She cried because that was the happiest she ever felt since they moved and it was taken away from her faster then she got it. That night she cried herself to sleep. One thing that neither of the two kids knew was that Max heard the whole thing.
