I smile and put my arms around her. "The same goes for you Arya."
She tilts her head up so she's looking me in the eyes. "Really?"
I nod and an emotion crosses her eyes but I can't really tell what it is. Is is gratefulness? I have no idea. "Thank you." She whispers.
I quickly pull away from the hug. "That's enough of sappy stuff lets go hunting shall we?" I joke and that makes her giggles.
"First one to catch something wins?" She challenges.
I shift and she does the same. 'You ready to loose fox girl?' I mind link her and I swear I see her roll her eyes.
'In your dreams wolf boy.' She mind links back and runs off.
I run off in the opposite direction and I catch a scent of deer. I follow it until I reach a stream.
The sound of the running water fills my ear and the scent of that deer fills my nose.
'Ready to loose?' I mind link Arya with as much cockiness I can.
'Nope because I already won.' She says back.
'What!?'
'I found a rabbit hiding in a bush.' I almost hear her laugh.
I don't answer her. Instead I scan the area and see a deer eating the top of a sapling.
Just as I'm about to attack I hear a young voice scream for help.
