"Alex." Arya whispers and I feel her arms wrap around my torso. "I'm so sorry."
I drop the gun and wrap my own arms around her. "No, I'm sorry, I'm sorry you had to see that. You probably think I'm a monster now."
Her grip on my tightens. "Alex listen to me. You're the best thing that's every happened to me. I love you and I will never stop loving you. If you asked me he deserved to die."
Without saying another word I cup her face with my hands and kiss her. Her response is almost instant as she kisses me back. I put my hand on the small of her back and kiss down her neck. "Alex," She mumbles. "We have to find the antidote."
I groan and pull away. "No fun Fredy." She slaps me playfully on the shoulder.
"I guess we should start in here." She's says and I look around the room. This must've been my father's office because there's a big desk and a filing cabinet right beside it.
I walk over to the desk and Arya walks over to the cabinet. I don't know why he would keep a needle in there but whatever.
I open each and every drawer, ripping papers out and tossing them to the ground.
I growl loudly when I don't find anything and flip the desk over causing it to go crashing to the ground.
Arya jumps at the loud noise and then walks over to me. "Hey Alex, calm down. Please." She runs her hand down my chest which calms me down.
"I'm sorry," I say and kiss her cheek. "We should go and check the rest of the building."
Her gaze falls on something behind me. "What's up?"
She walks past me and over to the wall. "Alex, look."
I follow her and stand beside her, looking at the wall. "What? I don't see anything."
She point to a part of the concrete wall. "It's a darker shade of grey.
I get a closer look to see that she's right. It's a darker shade but you can hardly tell. "How did you see that?" I ask.
"I guess I have good eyesight." She replies with a shrug.
"So do you thinks it's a secret compartment or something?" It seems like something my father would do.
"That's what I was thinking," She replies. "But if it is how do we open it?" That's a good question.
I put my hand on the darker patch on concrete and push as hard as I can.
There's a high pitch noise causing both Arya and I to cover our ears. When the noise stops the piece of the wall is now a drawer. Wow. How cliché.
I look in it and see a syringe with a glowing blue liqui inside. "Look," I say to Arya and pick the syringe up. "This must be it."
I push the plunger down a bit to get rid of the air and just as I'm about to put it in my arm Arya grabs my arm. "Wait Alex!"
I look at her in the eyes. "Why Arya? This is it, we found it."
"What happens if it's not it Alex? What happens if it's poisonous or something?" The amount of worry in her voice makes my heart melt.
I brush a piece of her long blonde hair out of her face and kiss her forehead. "That's a risk I'm willing to take. I don't want to shift or get mad and risk hurting you or anyone else. I love you too much Arya."
A tear falls down her cheek and I kiss it away. "I love you so much Alex." She whispers and let's go of my arm.
"I love you more beautiful." She blushes and I smile while giving her a kiss on the cheek.
I let out breath I was holding in and stick the needle into my arm. I push the plunger down causing the liquid to go into my veins.
"I don't feel any different." I say to Arya.
"Well how do we know if it worked?" She's asks.
"I can shift and if I don't feel like killing you we will know it worked." It's either that or he getting me mad but I feel like this is the better idea.
"Ok." She says with a nod.
"I love you." I say and give her a quick kiss before shifting into my black wolf.
The smell of my fathers blood fills my sensitive nose but I try my best to ignore it.
The need or want to kill something doesn't come and I let out a howl of pure joy.
I look at Arya and there's a gigantic smile on her beautiful face. "It worked?"
'Yes!' I happily mind link her.
She kneels down and wraps her arms around my neck. "I love you so much Alex." I feel something wet on my fur. Tears?
'I love you too beautiful why are you crying?'
"Alex! These are happy tears?" She unwraps her arms and wipes the tears away while I shift back into human form and wrap my arms around her.
"I love you so much beautiful how about we go home?"
She nods and I smile widely. I'm so lucky to have this girl in my life, I love her more then anyone can imagine. I just can't believe this all started in a cave.
