She leads my down the familiar halls until we reach the part of the building with the cells and each one has a hospital looking chair inside. Arya lets out a small gasp as she sees a little boy tied down to a chair screaming and an older man hunched over him. I can feel her grip on my hand tighten. I look down at our intertwined fingers and quickly jerk my hand away. "What is this place?" She asks and not even mentioning the two people.
Just as I'm about to answer her question the older man turn around and the younger boy's body starts to shake violently a pain that I know all to well. "Well, well, well look who we have here. You've returned."
That's when it dawns on me. The same brown hair, the same brown eyes. This man is my dad.
He leaves the side of the boy and walks out of the cell. He stands in front of me and out of the corner of my eye and I can see Arya is frozen with either shock or fear. Maybe even a mixture of the two.
My dad turns his gaze to look at Arya. "So who's the pretty lady?" He takes a lock of her hair and twirls it with his fingers. This action make her jump a little bit.
"Don't touch her." I snap and he lets out a low laugh, removing his hands from her hair.
"You didn't tell her did you?" He puts his eyes back on me.
"No yet."
"Well maybe you should show her instead." In one swift motion he has Arya in his arms and a knife to her neck. The look on her face makes me sad. "Show her before she dies."
I shake my head. I can't, I can't do it. "Alex please just show me whatever it is!" Arya cries out and there is tears streaming down her face. I can't let her die.
I take a few steps and allow myself to shift. My bones crack and the fur starts to grow until I'm eventually a wolf.
My dad throws Arya to the ground and she crawls over to me. The tears have stopped but they're still stains. "Oh my God. This is amazing." She runs her hands through my fur and I can't help but wag my tail. This action makes her smile the tiniest bit. "Wait so you're the wolf I saw?" I slightly nod.
Before she can say anything else my dads speaks, "Get out of here before I kill you both." Sadly I know he would. So I give him one last growl before walking away, Arya walking beside me.
