I want to know this girls name but I can't shift in front of her. I don't want to scare her and she will probably think I'm a freak.
I get on my paws and growl loudly at her which makes her flinch. The last thing I need is her finding out my secret.
I start to walk out of the cave and I can't hear her footsteps so that means she isn't following me.
I increase my pace until I'm in a tiny clearing. I shift back into human form and brush myself off. I look around for something to eat until my eyes land on some blueberry bushes. I walk up to them and pick enough to at least kind of fill me up.
I sigh and walk back to the entrance of the cave and I can hear faint cries coming from inside telling me that mystery girl is still inside. Ignoring my claustrophobicness I walk into the cave to see her hugging her knees in the far corner of the cave. I clear my throat and she look up at me with a bewildered look on her face. "Like what you see?" I joke.
She wipes her tears away. "As a matter of fact I do." She pulls something out of her pocket and I hear a 'click.' She did not just take a picture of me.
I can't help a low growl escaping from my lips, one of the many perks of being part wolf. "Delete it."
"Did you just growl?" She asks totally ignoring what I just said.
"No I didn't," I quickly say and glare at her. "Delete it."
She giggles and looks back at her phone, her thumbs starting to type something. "Too late it's already on every social media I have. Good thing it's at full battery," She looks up. "Let me guess your one of those guys."
I raise an eyebrow "What's that supposed to mean?"
"You're a jerk, who's sleeps with one girl and dumps her the next day."
Her statement makes me growl again, if she only knew the truth. "I'm nothing like that. I just don't like people taking pictures of me."
She stands up and brushes herself off. "Ok that time you growled. I'm Arya by the way." What a pretty name.
She extends her hand and I look at it but don't take it. "Alex."
She slowly lowers her hand a flash of disappointment crosses her face. "Well Alex what brings you to this cave?"
