Daisy looks like a spitting image of the woman, I'm guessing it's her mother. She's short and has the same coloured hair, the same green eyes. The only difference is the woman's skin is slightly more tanned. "Hello. My name is Alex and this is Arya," I tilt my head to where Arya is standing beside me. "I think we have your daughter. Daisy?"
When I say this her hands fly to cover her mouth and she's gasps. "Thank you!"
She cries and I can see tears threatening to spill. She tries to take Daisy from Arya but Arya doesn't let her. "She's sleeping Mrs is there a place where I can put her?" Arya asks.
The woman nods several times, really fast. "My name is Jessica and her room is down the hall, the first door on the left."
"Thank you." Arya says and walks past her.
"So Alex. Please come in a tell me everything. I want to know where you found her, what happened to her and anything else you can't tell me." She moves out of my way and I walk in.
I look around. The house is one giant room and you can see the different kinds of rooms within it. There's also a hallway leading to what I guess is the bedrooms. I walk to part of the room that's the living room and sit on black leather couch. A few seconds Jessica is in the chair across from me. "Get talking please." Her voice is firm but welcoming at the same time.
"Shouldn't your husband be here?" I look at the clock that's hanging from the far wall. It's seven o'clock? Where has the day gone.
"How do you know I have a husband?" She asks with an eyebrow raised.
"Daisy told me." I shrug.
"Oh well my husband should be here in just a few minutes I guess you're right, we should wait for him," She stands up and walks towards the kitchen. "Would you like tea?" She calls to me.
I smile at the thought of having a glass of tea. I thought I would never have a glass again. "Yes please!" I call back. "Just some milk though!"
As I wait my mind races with a million ideas about how I'm going to tell them that their daughter is turning into a rabbit.
