We both run down the hallways until we reach the exit. I open the door, how stupid they didn't even lock the door. "Run!" I yell at Arya and she complies.

We both run until we get to the cave. But I don't have enough energy or adrenaline to actually go inside the cave so I just collapse at the mouth of it, onto my knees. "Alex!?" Arya yells and goes on her knees in front of me. "Are you ok?"

That's when the tears start to flow down my cheeks like a tsunami. "I killed someone Arya, I killed an innocent boy."

She takes my hands but I quickly yank mine away. "Don't touch me. I'm a monster." I don't meet her eyes, instead I look at the ground.

"Alex, you are not a monster." She tries to reassure me but it doesn't work.

"I killed an innocent person Arya! If I'm not a monster then I'm a murderer!" Just like a cliché movies it starts to rain.

She takes my hands again and this time I don't even have the energy to move. "Alex, listen to me," I look up, into her beautiful blue eyes. "You are not a monster. You killed that boy because your father made you. He injected you with something that make you his killing machine. It's not your fault." Did he really do that? My own father did that to me? 'Of course he did. He's a psychopath.' My conscious says to me.

I wipe my tears away even though it makes no difference because of the rain that's now pouring down. "I still killed him," I whisper. "I'm still a murderer."

Instead of saying anything Arya wraps her arms around my neck and connects our lips.

Her lips are soft and warm against mine, despite the rain. I wrap my arms around her waist then she pulls away panting slightly. "I love you Alex, no matter what you do. I know you would never do that on your own." She rests her forehead against mine and I see her shiver.

"Are you cold?" I didn't want to talk about what I did and this is a perfect opportunity to change the subject.

She nods. "A tiny bit. But I don't have anymore clothes."

"We can go back to my house. My sister might have left some clothes before she went to college. We would have to climb the tree outside my window though I don't want to see my mother right now." If I saw my mother she would probably have a fit. Well then again she would probably be drunk and not even notice it's me.

"You'll really do that for me?" Her eyes look into mine intensely.

"Of course I would, I love you." I kiss the tip of her nose and she smiles.

"Can we go now? I'm begging to turn into an icicle." I force a smile to form on my face but she doesn't seem to notice that it's fake.

"Sure." She stands up and holds out a hand for me. I take it and she helps me to my feet. "Want a piggy back ride?"

She smile and giggles. "Yes!" She is so adorable.

I crouch down and a few seconds later she jumps onto my back. I stumble because of the wet grass which makes a squeaking noise come from Arya. I laugh and balance myself before taking hold of her thighs and walking towards the edge of the forest.

Arya puts her arms around her neck and rests her head on my shoulder. "You're comfy." I hear her mumble which makes me chuckle.

"Is that a compliment?"

"Yes."

"Well thank you beautiful." She buries her face into the crook of my neck, probably to hide the blush that's on her cheek.

After about ten minutes of walking through the forest we reach the road. I turn right and start to walk down the sidewalk. It will only take us five minutes to get to me house.

I hear a light snore coming from behind me. Awe, Arya is asleep!

As we reach my two story house I let go of one of Arya's legs, but I make sure she doesn't fall. I shake her arm but she just mumbles something. "Arya wake up."

"Is something wrong?" She mumbles again.

"No we're at my house." I say and gently drop her onto the ground.

She turns her gaze onto the house. "That's your house?"

The house is a two story building make out of red brick. The roof is at a deep angle and windows are in a pattern on the front wall. "That's it. You ready to go?"

She nods and I walk up to the tree and start to climb. "Be carful." I say down to Arya who's not that far behind me.
