(third person pov)
the couple woke up entangled in each other's grasp something they were very use to and enjoyed. ever since the sad event of what happened to Corey daniel has been not feeling his best. he feels that he needs to do something to honor Corey which he knew he would do eventually do it but with covid it was slightly holding him back
summer woke up to see daniel's head on her chest just like every other morning. it was something she was use to now since daniel always found a way there through the night. she giggled at the sight of him running her fingers through his hair
he started to shuffle around and his eyes fluttered open. he looked up at summer who looked down at him with a smile "good morning" he said with a husky voice causing summer to giggle
"good morning bub" she said with a smile. he burrows his head into his chest causing the girl to laugh "babeeee it's literally 11:30 let's get up" she said trying to get up but he held onto her tight
"no" he mumbled. she tried getting up again so he payed down on top over her and in between her legs causing her to laugh even harder. they say their for a few minutes summer running her fingers through his hair, daniel making small circles in her arms.
"i wanna do something" summer said out of the blue. daniel looked up at her resting his chin on her chest "like what" he said "something big like a trip" she said. daniel smiled and it was like a lightbulb switched on in his head.
he grabbed the laptop and flipped over so now summer was sitting up and daniel was laying in between her legs. he opened it and searched up united airlines.
after some searching they realized none of the places they were thinking of they wanted to go to. that's when it clicked in daniel's brain. "what about Hawaii" he asked looking up at summer. "babe being on a plane for that long with other people during a pandemic i don't think that's safe-" she started but daniel cut her off
"no i mean what if me you the boys and all their girls got on a private jet and flew their. think about it we could all get covid tested and be safe on a private jet only with each other plus we could all stay at a big airbnb right by the beach and well we can do what we said we were gonna do for Corey" he said
summer though about it for a few seconds before reaching over to the laptop and pulling up the group chat of her and the girls ringing them for a group FaceTime. 30 seconds later all of them answered with responses of heys and whats ups
"aww look at you and daniel you guys are so cute" elizabeth said causing all the girls to make comments. daniel turned red and flipped over to face my stomach causing them to make more remarks
"guys go get your men we have a question" they all looked confused but walked over to them. the boys all said hi and what no before it quieted down
"okay so me and daniel came up with an idea..." summer looked down to see daniel had fallen asleep again.
"well for now i have an idea.. what if we all go to Hawaii" they all looked at her confused
"sums, bestie, sum sum the dum dum....you know theirs a global pandemic right" corbyn said with a smile on his face causing everyone to laugh including summer.
"no corbyn i mean in a private jet! we could all take covid tests and be safe get our own airbnb and on top of that it's probably easier and cheaper if we all split it plus" she looked down at daniel to see he was still sleeping
"daniel wants to do something for Corey i really think he needs it he need closure" summer mouthed. of course the girls and corbyn got it but the others were confused. the girls explained it to each other. summer received a bunch of nods.
"i just want him to be happy again" she whispered running her fingers through his hair causing him to cuddled up closer to her. "alright love birds were in" jack and elizabeth said. everyone else agreed and corbyn and jonah agreed to be the ones to start looking. they all spoke for a little gave the boys info and in a matter of an hour the flight was booked.
they all said our goodbyes and summer shut the laptop causing daniel to jump up awake "IM AWAKE" he said sitting up causing summer to burst into laughter daniel joining her "what did i miss" he said kissing her forehead.
"baby we're going to Hawaii" i said with a smile. he looked at me shocked and shook his head but i nodded causing him to tackle me into a hug
"we're going to Hawaii"
