Finally Friday, I make sure to get an extra large coffee because I wasn't able to sleep at all last night. I have no doubt that most people won't be going to class today because of the party last night but that's not going to stop me. I need to keep my grades up, I just started this school and it's still early in the school year I don't want to start slacking now.

When I step out of my dad's GTO I feel a slight chill down my spine but it's not from the wind. It's from a pair of eyes that I know are his. I gather a deep breath of air before turning around with my straw in my mouth. His hazel eyes bore into me and I can feel a fire burning deep in the bottom of my stomach and deep between my legs. I bite on my straw to keep my emotions in check. I can't let him know he's getting to me. That kiss was a mistake. A delicious, wonderful, earth shattering mistake but a mistake nonetheless. I can't let Knight get back into my heart. I won't.

I match his stare and wait for him to make the first move. Why is he staring at me? It was just a kiss and I planned on not saying a word. Chalking it up to a drunken night even though neither of us were drunk.

"Hey!" Lila scares the crap out of me and I almost spill my coffee. It's enough to break my stare down with Knight and I flick my eyes over to hers as she holds up her hands defensively. "I'm so sorry! I didn't mean to scare you!"

I cough a little before smiling at her. "No, no, you're fine. Sorry. I was just...," she looks over at where I was staring. "Elsewhere?" she finishes for me and I roll my eyes.

"Absolutely not. He's just very annoying."

She chuckles before guiding us inside. "Mmm. So, what's the story there?"

I turn giving her a confused look but she just lets out a huff. "Come on. Don't play that game. I thought we were friends."

"I have no idea what you're talking about. And we are friends!"

Lila rolls her eyes as she opens her locker. "If we were really friends you wouldn't be lying to me about why you guys hate each other so much but yet there's this like constant current of electricity between you. Everyone see's it so you're not really subtle about it." She looks over my shoulder and when I turn around I see Knight and his crew of bad boys. Niko turns around smiling and that's when I notice his eyebrow is recently pierced. It wasn't like that last night so I can only assume he went out right after the party to get it done.

I bite my lip and Lila notices. "Hot right."

"Hmm?"

"Apparently they all went out and got piercings and tattoos last night."

"What? All of them?"

"Mhmm," Lila smirks at me before we walk to my locker. At the same time Niko looks up, spots us and starts making his way over to his locker. Which is right by mine.

I open my locker, taking the books out that I need and trying to covertly check out the boys to see what and where they got tatted and pierced. Niko's eyebrow is pierced and he's got a new tattoo on the back of his neck that's covered in a bandage. Reese has his knuckles wrapped and his lip pierced. I can't help but think what that would feel like. Shane's got no visible signs of a new tattoo or piercing so I can only assume that it's somewhere hidden.

My eyes finally wander over to Knight when I'm done gathering my stuff and close my locker. I turn around and lean up against my locker. Books in hand I stare over at the boys while I suck on my straw.

"So what do you think Shane and Knight pierced?" Lila asks from beside me as we stare at the boys. I know she finds them attractive just like everyone else in this school, myself included, so I don't blame her for ogling. Apparently we stare for too long because Niko looks over, smirks and makes his way over, along with the rest of them.

"Hey, sweet cheeks," Shane says and I roll my eyes. Niko bends down kissing me on the cheek and I play it off like I'm not shocked out of my mind. I nod to his eyebrow, "How bad did it hurt?"

He chuckles, "Not as bad as I assume Knight's did and definitely no where near Shane's." I look over at Shane who has thrown his arm around Lila's shoulders and is trying to whisper in her ear. She's having none of it although I see the slight smirk on her face as she asks, "So what is it that you all got done exactly?"

Shane smirks, "I could tell you, or I could show you. What's it going to be blondie?" I punch him in his arm and he steps back with a pout and an 'ow'. Rubbing his arm he says, "I know I said I liked it rough but damn girl, chill a little bit. We can't even have any real fun here."

I roll my eyes at him before turning my gaze back to Niko. "So what is it that bozo got pierced?" I motion over to Shane and I hear all of them snicker, including Knight which makes me feel a small sense of pride.

"His dick," Reese supplies and I hear Lila gasp while I let out a small laugh.

"Damn, I know that must have hurt," I say, shaking my head.

"It actually wasn't too bad but I know the ladies are going to love it," Shane takes a step closer to me, "want to find out when I'm nice and healed baby girl?"

"Pass." I nod over to Knight, "And what about you, nighty Knight?" I look down at his forearm that's wrapped in tape but I can't see anything. A piece of me is dying to know what he got and if him and I were still on good terms I would love to stare at his body all day long and see all of the prime art tattooed there but were not. And I don't think I'll be doing that anytime in the near future.

Knight smirks at me before leaning down to whisper in my ear. "I finally got the push I needed to do something just a little bit crazy." He says, his voice giving off a slight lisp and my eyebrows knit. He chuckles before licking just below my ear and then biting my lobe. I let out a tiny gasp before he pulls away and sticks out his tongue for me to see the barbell sticking out.

When we were fourteen Knight and I spent a few nights out at our spot by the lake at camp talking about how we always wanted tattoo's and if we ever got the courage when we were older what we would get. In another life we made a promise to get matching tattoo's but Knight always said he wanted one of three piercing's. Either his eyebrow, tongue or lip and considering his friends got the other two I'm sure he wanted to be different. Stand out from the crowd. I won't lie, it makes him ten times hotter and my insides have turned to liquid. I can feel heat rushing to my core as I stare at his mouth as he plays with the barbell between his teeth.

Images of us kissing last night flash in my mind and I glance up at his eyes. He's staring down at me with such lust that all I want to do right now is push him into an empty classroom and jump him.

The bell for homeroom rings and I shake my head, riding it of the images. I clear my throat and push through the boys as they laugh darkly. I'm sure they can already tell what their new appearance is doing to all the girls. Including me.

I let out a groan as I tighten my grip on my books and bite down on my straw as if I'm going to chew it in half. Lila strides up next to me bumping my hip with hers.

"Jeez. You could have cut the sexual tension between the two of you with a knife."

I turn, narrowing my eyes at her before letting out a grunt. "I hate him. There is no sexual tension."

She laughs, "You could have fooled me. Come on. I know you guys have a past right?"

I nod my head, not wanting to give her too many details.

"Soooo. What's the deal? Why do you hate him so much? Why aren't you together anymore?"

I let out a deep breath closing my eyes just before I get to homeroom. "Are you going to drop this?"

"Nope," she shakes her head and pops the P. Letting out a frustrated growl I tilt my head back and close my eyes not seeing a way out of this. If I don't give her something she's just going to keep asking me and I don't feel like going down memory lane right now. Especially after what happened last night.

I bring my head back to eye level with her and let out a breath. "He cheated on me. And that's all I'm saying about it. Let's get to class and stop asking me any more questions about Knight Thomas. Him and I are in the past and that's how it's going to stay." But even as I say the words something in the back of my mind is yelling at me that that's far from the truth.
