My head rises and falls as Knight breathes and I stare out at the dark lake, no other light than that of the moon and the stars shining above. It was perfect. Absolutely, completely perfect. Everyone always talks about how their first time is awful. Short, painful at first and awkward but none of that happened with Knight. It was like something out of a movie. Euphoria. Heaven. He touched a piece of me that I didn't think was possible- my soul. I thought I was in love before but nothing compares to the feeling I have right now after us sharing something so special together.
I close my eyes thinking about how much I wish my mom was here so that I could tell her just how much I care about this boy. Knight must be a mind reader because he plays with my hair before whispering, "She knows, baby. Trust me, she knows."
I glance up at him with tears in my eyes and he strokes his thumb under my eye brushing away a stray tear. I lean up meeting his lips with mine in a light kiss that's filled with so much love. I pull away staring back at the serene lake while Knight's fingers brush through my hair. I don't know how much time has passed before my stomach interrupts the quiet night with a loud growl and I realize that I'm not only starving but I have to pee. Knight starts to laugh and I shake my head chuckling into his chest. I look up at his hazel eyes shrugging. "Clearly I'm hungry and I have to pee so bad right now."
That only makes Knight laugh harder before he leans down and places a kiss on my forehead. "Okay, babe," he laughed, "I actually have to take a piss really bad too but I didn't want to disturb you." I hit his chest. "Why the hell didn't you say something," I scold him as I get up and start putting my clothes back on.
Knight chuckles as he jumps into his pants. "Because I didn't want to disturb you! I just said that." I roll my eyes before leaning back over to him for a kiss. "Okay, I'll run to the bathroom and then get us some snacks and meet you back here? Or do you want me to come back to your cabin?"
He wraps his arms around my waist pulling me closer. "Come back here, maybe we can have another go." Knight winked at me before giving me another kiss. We headed toward the bathrooms before splitting up to go our separate ways. The girls and boys bathrooms were on opposite sides of the field just like the cabins but the best thing about the girls side was that we were closer to the snack stand, whereas the boys cabins were closer to the playing fields (basketball courts, soccer fields, etc.).
After I did my business I made my way into the snack bar set on finding the ultimate goodies for Knight and I to feast on before making love again. Only I wasn't counting on someone else being there. "Whatcha getting there?" I nearly jumped out of my skin at the male voice. Turning around with my hand on my chest I saw Ian standing in the doorway with a smirk on his face.
I cleared my throat before looking around. Yup, just the two of us. "Um...nothing, just some snacks. I got pretty hungry."
"I bet," he took a few steps toward me, "I didn't see you for dinner."
"Um...yeah," I looked around while taking a step back. Ian's eyes lit up at my retreat and I scolded myself for showing any signs of weakness. I rolled my shoulders back and let out a deep breath before narrowing my eyes at him. "I wasn't feeling too well for dinner."
"Mmm. But now you're hungry?"
"Yeah..." My eyes turned into slits as I watched his lips turn up into a devilish grin.
"Bet it was all that working out you did, huh?"
My eyebrow quirked up. "Working out?"
Ian's smirk turned into a full blown smile. "Yeah. You know....down by the lake. I saw you working out with a partner."
